The Glow Ink sacs are limited in use and just clutter inventory as it cannot be sold to a Villager. And I don't think any of the villagers fit to buy the Glow Ink Sacs, certainly not a Librarian. Additionally, allow us to change font size of signs to take advantage of the glowing effect on the lettering.

I believe that the Glow Squid should have an animated texture, rather than a basic one. It would give more life to the Glow Squid and make it feel unique. Minecraft Earth already made it animated so why can't it be in the base game? Of course it doesn't have to blink but its body must illuminate from bottom to top.

So, perhaps when and aquifer generates it can either generate as a regular aquifer or a glow squid aquifer. Glow squid aquifers are regular aquifers would be aquifers that spawn glow squid in them, that way they would not be in every aquifer underground but would still be in a few of them allowing for some more cool discoveries when we go underground. It would be really cool if while just exploring you just come across an aquifer and you see all these glow squid deep within it.

I think glow squid should only be able to spawn below a certain light level. I would make sense that they would be adapted to such.

hey can you guess make Glow squid actually glow same with the glow item frame/sign so it just makes the oceans more light up

I think the glow ink sac needs more uses

(eg. new recipe for spectral arrows, used in a new light source, dying wool, etc.)

Also maybe a new waterlogged cave biome that it would spawn in.

Glow squids should obviously Glow, but I think a cooler aspect would be if they spawned down in the darker caves and they would glow to help themselves see

I feel like the glowing ink sac should be used to brew potions of glowing.

It would be fantastic if you could use the glow ink sac to dye sheep or leather armour so that it glows

It I wish it would naturally spawn and that they would make it rare. So that they could make it an achievement.

Glow Squids should definitely spawn in the underwater caves and aquifiers! In fact, it should be unique to the waters in caves. They'll work well with the gloomy atmosphere of caves.

I would like for them to be smaller so they fit into caves better and we can scoop them in buckets.

The Glow Ink Sack could be used to make Glowing Dyes, wich would function just like regular Dyes, but mixed with the Glow Ink Sack Features.

What i mean is that Glow Dyes would paint concrete/ leather/ banners/ wool/ etc just like usual, but these blocks would not be affected by light level, so they would always be bright, in the dark.

But, just like the glowing effect on glow squids, they would not emit light, so they wouldn't be light sources, thus keeping it vanilla-friendly by not adding moving light sources.

This mechanic would be so cool!

    • Builders could now have blocks that are not affected by light level, so now imagine the possibilites of color gradients!
    • Map makers would now have the ability to make cool new puzzles, like, for example, a secret path that is only visible (highlighted) when dark, or something like this.
    • Both leather armor and banners would be way more cool to desing, as you could now have parts that glow in the dark! Not emiting light, again, but still cool nevertheless!
    • Mob farms would be even more nice, becaus now you could mix the tinted glass and the highlithed concrete blocks to make funcional mob farms (as it would still technically be dark enough for them to spawn) but visible at the same time!
    • Building on the new caves would be extra cool with a house full of glowing blocks that are visible in the dark, and not being over powered since they would not interfere with the local light leve!

There are so many cool things that the glow squid could give us...

I feel like they should be quite smaller, like the size of the rare baby squid from bedrock. It would be cool to be in an aquafier and seeing a cluster of these small glowing squids swimming around this dark cave.

Make glow squids a lot rarer. Make the glow ink sac to dye leather armour to glow.

They should use a lighting system similar to Optifine’s (optifine.net) dynamic lighting, so they can light up the area around them and make them more useful

There should be an Enchantment you can apply to your armor to give yourself the Glow Squid Effect! One of the materials for it would be a glow ink sac.

No idea what it would be called.

Glow squids definitely need more use or at least their own biome. Their glow ink sacs still feel useless as the glow signs and item frames feel lackluster. maybe their ink sacks could be used in a brewing stand and could make a potion for when players and mobs look at you they would get dizzy and your player would glow (but not give off light)

They should spawn in underwater caves and ravines.

glowing ink + some dye-able neutral block (wool? glass? both?) = colored lighting

We should be able to make all dyeable blocks glow. This includes wool, beds, concrete and shulker boxes. It would also be cool if we could make leather armor glow. Your adding the new powder snow functionality to leather armor anyway, so it would make senses to add more customization too in order to incentivize more players to wear leather armor.

We should be able to craft spectral arrows in bedrock with the glow ink sac.

would really love for the squids to actually emit a light, (like optifine torches do) and spawn in aquifers sometimes.

I think that the glow squid either should be smaller (or bigger). It would make it easier to separate from normal squids, and add add a layer of variety in our aquariums.

Hmmmmm. You know I really think glow squids need to have baby glow squids. Seeing tiny glow squids to the oceans would add a little more to the ocean. Plus baby glow squids would be adorable.

There should be a "Glow Torch" that is crafted with 1 stick and 1 glow sac. It would be able to be placed underwater.

Also, glow squids should have more of a use.

And also a question, will the dye change the color of the signs text if players have used the § symbol?

We could be able to use glow ink sacs to make spectral arrows, and while we do that why not add spectral arrows into bedrock edition
