I really do not care what version comes to quest. I have spent money on Minecraft on basically all platforms ,but i would gladly buy it again if it was to come to quest. The whole vr community has wanted this and i can they that most where excited based on the countless people on youtube excited about the news of it being under review. to have no wires 6 degrees of freedom or “dof” and a full blown Minecraft experience is a recipe for well, awesome. So if anyone from mojang is reading this please add Minecraft to the platform the community, And me will thank you.

I’d rather have a java version of minecraft on the quest since I feel putting hand moving player models on other platforms will be a waste of time, if you put java minecraft on quest people would be more incline to buy it. Of course this is my opinion but from my perspective it probably be best to just put the java version rather then the bedrock version. P.S Or have the java version of minecraft be able to connect with the bedrock version vice versa

I think this game would be fantastic on Oculus Quest. It would be a great opportunity for both Mojang and Oculus, and I think it would make a lot of money. If this was made possible, it would be incredible. Thank you.

This definitely should be a thing. Minecraft is already on other vr platforms and would be silly to not add it to the quest. It would be the closet you could get to actually playing minecraft in the real world (if you take off guardian mode).

Minecraft on Quest Could easily be the number one played game on the platform. I would totally pay 29.99! I love Minecraft VR on PC, Quest would be a amazing next step.

I would love if Minecraft was like Vivecraft. I would buy the game the first day it would come out. I will still buy it if it’s bedrock but I much prefer java.

I agree but disagree with making the oculus quest have a bedrock version. Positive: It does make sense to make a bedrock version since most consoles have bedrock and oculus quest could be considered a console, I think this would be great as a bedrock verson. Negative: I've seen many bugs on the bedrock version of Minecraft, if mojang could make this a bedrock version with minimal to no glitches, otherwise, I think this would be a great addition to the oculus quest and I am so excited this is under review for the future.

I agree with this. I’m looking for a game I can sink hours into on my quest and this would be perfect. I would re purchase Minecraft for a 10th time just to have it wireless!

Seriously needs it with touch controls not just an Xbox controller

And when roughly will it come out?

No matter what people say, bedrock would be amazing for quest. That would mean I could play with Xbox people with touch controls in vr

I think going with bedrock will be perfect for the quest. Obviously they can’t do java, our Minecraft VR for java runs on third-party clients, so it’s not theirs to use, and performance issues would be a problem. We already have bedrock VR available officially, so porting to the quest should be easy. Anyone who cares this much about Minecraft to be advocating for new versions would choose java over bedrock, but bedrock should be a compromise we are willing to make for VR. Also, multiplayer without setting up a server is pretty dank

It should have 6 DOF controls if implemented on the Quest. It would be a waste of the platforms capabilities if it isn't. I suggest bringing potions and consumables to the mouth to be consumed. Swing a sword, axe, shovel, etc. rather than pressing a button. Map the minecraft menus to a 'Tilt brush' like interface where it is connected to the players arm. It would also be very nostalgic if the tutorial level for the VR port is the opening 'Ready Player One' movie Minecraft scene. Minecraft VR and Minecraft Earth might be able to play off each other when it comes to some experiences.

I'd like to see this for Bedrock! I can see the issue with putting Java on it, but Bedrock is great and has VR already, so to see this on the go would be awesome!

Hello, I am a quest user and would really like to see Minecraft on it. I’ve followed this thread for a while and the only update is that it’s under review. Could we get some updates? Or could you at least let us know when there will be updates?
