I got my oculus quest a few weeks ago and it’s been amazing and I can’t imaging how this system, which is already flying off the shelves, will sell so many units just for this game. This is the greatest game ever created and i feel like Microsoft would be stupid not to bring oculus quest support.

I would REALLY want minecraft on the oculus quest, One reason why is because the oculus quest is a stand alone wireless headset, so you wouldn't get tangled in wires, Another reason is that the quest is the cheapest headset so we don't have to buy a 2,000$ PC to run games on it, my third reason IT'S MINECRAFT ON THE OCULUS QUEST WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT!?!?!?!

I bought Minecraft on the PC, I bought it on Xbox 360, I bought it on Xbox One, I bought it on from the Apple store when I had it on my iPhone, and bought it on the Play store when I switched to an android. Not once have I ever thought "hmm, maybe I shouldn't have bought this or that version" because I love Minecraft, and the product is worth the money. Now I bought an Oculus Quest, my first foray into Virtual Reality, and to my chagrin, there is no Minecraft on it. And, even worse, no response to the millions of loyal customers who would happily pay to play it on there. It already works if you sideload the Gear VR version, but you cannot use the proprietary Quest controllers. In my honest opinion, Mojang should come and just say "Yes" or "No" as to whether we are getting it, rather than keeping us in the dark and dodging the question. Think of how much money they could have made if Minecraft launched with the Quest?

Come on Mojang, give us a response. You don't owe it to us, but it's honestly rude how you do not pay us any attention.

They would have it be bedrock edition so you do not receive my vote. They should delete Bedrock because it is terrible and badly optimized.

Minecraft for Oculus Quest will no doubt be one of the most downloaded games for the Quest. This seems like a no brainer for the Quest due to many people getting into VR through the Quest since many of fans can’t afford a Gaming PC and an Oculus Rift to play it. It will be amazing for longtime fans and for new beginners alike and helps us fans get more into Minecraft through VR.

I agree, i think we would need it on the quest. firstly mojang will get money out of it. and secondly they will get more users.
They have no reason not to

An option for the Oculus Quest would be absolutely perfect. The quest is for many, including myself, the only way to experience VR due to the ease of access from no PC or tracking cameras. Thanks to this the quest has become a major success- but it has one flaw, a huge lack of big games. Minecraft would be an excellent solution for this as it’s hugely popular and doesn’t require demanding hardware to run

As the owner of a quest and a non-windows pc I am desperate for an Oculus Quest port of Minecraft. I own the pc, Xbox, and mobile versions of the game and I’ve been playing since the betas. I love the game but the fact that this port doesn’t exist yet is kind of disappointing especially considering it exists on the Oculus Rift. As this post shows, there is a significant demand for the port please Microsoft and mojang make it happen.

I and many others would love Minecraft to come to the Oculus Quest! I think the freedom of space with the quest is perfect for minecraft. Bedrock Edition would work best, as the quest runs on 4gb of ram. I would also love to play with my friends/family, who also have bedrock edition.

I completely agree on this. I have been playing Minecraft since beta and I think it would be awesome! Also I’d like to say if you could do this it make me personally feel like a valued member of Minecraft. Especially because you have kicked me super hard. I bought a 4K TV and a Xbox one X for the fancy pack. It was delayed and I understood. I have checked once a month on it every month waiting. And than you guys cancelled it after so much waiting and patience. So if you could please do this for the oculus quest it would mean a ton to some people. Thank you.

Look i love Minecraft and would love to play the Vr version without having to jump through a bunch of emulator hoops or having to buy an extremely powerful pc and the rift.

MineCraft already is a powerful brand name, and it has VR as it stands, pocket edition for the phone is perfectly capable of functioning which clearly means rendering in in VR 2 screen mode with controller tracking   can not be that complicated for the Oculus Quest VR headset, if they did make this game officially available Via The  Quest store they would make millions as so many people who are having issues jury rigging ViveCraft to their headset would get it, and anyone why don't have a PC that is capable of VR to stream from would get it,, i myself have never played mine-craft form more then 20 minutes in my entire life, and i would willingly pay money to have MineCraft VR in my system as VR MineCraft seems so much more worth investing in and fun then flat screen was, it would also help sell systems, especially if they made a creeper colored special launch headset or something, that type of thing users would advertise themselves, but a commercial would help immensely, MineCraft for VR on thej Quest would be only beneficial for both VR as a whole in getting the medium to more people faster, and MineCraft its self, but hey what do i know, i am just a random guy on the internet.

I think it would be great to have a system where you can physically mine blocks, like in ViveCraft. Also, if it was more like Java Edition instead of Bedrock or Console, I think many more people would use it over ViveCraft with VRidge, meaning Oculus would have less people sideloading stuff on the quest.

Do this, and do it right! The Quest is the best opportunity to go mainstream with a VR Minecraft, and it could give it the attention and backing it needs to be its own dedicated, specialized thing.

The reason I want Minecraft for the quest is because of the no wires the amount of things you could do especially with no wires would be amazing and you would boost your sales slot as well

The 6dof would probably be the coolest part, being able to walk around in the Minecraft world with hand presence would be the best thing ever, if it is added, hand presence is a must :)
