This platform is rapidly growing. Any quality game (such as Minecraft) or well known game (such as Minecraft) would certainly bring seasoned players back in as well as new ones.

One of the very frequent first questions that comes up is “How do I get Minecraft on Oculus Quest?”. The community needs a way of being fully immersed in their favourite game that doesn’t involve sideloading, magically connecting to steam, and somehow streaming vivecraft from a PC. This does work, but it’s downright annoying. An official title that is entirely local on the device would be far better in the render quality and in the overall quality of the game.

Minecraft is such a fantastic game and it’s a shame that it is limited to computers, consoles, and phones. VR is the future of gaming. Please be a part of that future!

I am glad to hear you are still talking about bringing Minecraft to the Oculus Quest. MOJANG / MINECRAFT IF YOU ARE LISTENING WE WANT MINECRAFT FOR THE OCULUS QUEST, IT WILL BE A DREAM COME TRUE FOR A LOT OF US! We love Minecraft, and you want us to go on adventures within our own world and what better way to do that than in Virtual Reality? Thank you for listening. <3

Bedrock edition would be pretty cool to see but I'm still with Java, if we could get Java edition of Minecraft on the Oculus Quest that would great!

I would be interested in both java and bedrock edition. A lot of my friend dont have the same system as me so the bedrock addition of cross play is wonderful. But when I am playing alone the java version as an incredible use of command that I enjoy when I play. So both version of minecraft with the go & quest would be incredibly

Having this game on the Oculus Quest would be a no brainer! It would be so popular it could be a console seller. People would go out of their way and buy an Oculus Quest just to have this be the only game they own! As it is Oculus Quest has some good games but they are extremely numbered unlike console. Minecraft could definitely steal the show in this new market!

Disappointed that the version will not be java as that would allow easy sideloading of mods for the users, but if the bedrock edition released does fully allow cross play with all systems, I feel that it will still be a great seller. There is a large amount of hype around the release of this game to the quest, but the longer people wait, the less hype there is. Please give official progress about what's going on with the release whenever possible. 100% would pay full price if not a little bit more for a release as of now.

@Tyler Holmes - Well I personally think it wouldn't be a complete waste of time. It would be bedrock, but it would still be Minecraft in VIRTUAL REALITY! Imagine how cool that would be! Especially when being able to have touch controls to move your arms around. Peering around corners; and leaning over fences. It would be pretty amazing imo.

Honestly, A game like Minecraft NEEDS to be on Oculus Quest. Games on Oculus Quest are like - "Oh this game is really fun but I wish I could do other things." Minecraft on Oculus Quest could be great because - 1. Non VR players can play with VR players, 2. MONEYMONEYMONEYMONEYMONEY 3. You can do whatever you want in Minecraft so imagine building a house, going fishing, fighting mobs, mining, etc. ALL IN VIRTUAL REALITY. It would be absolutely FASCINATING to do ANYTHING you want with your friends even if they DON'T have VR. Voice chat? Here try this - You could call them up, put your phone on a nearby table or something, and talk to them. Done. This NEEDS to be done. I would buy this INSTANTLY. Minecraft for Quest!

Дороу, обожаю игру, но в ней не хватает истории, я бы предложил сделать шалаши и заброшенные постройки, пока что все

I feel like this is a no-brainer for the quest. Carmack worked so hard to get Minecraft on gearvr. This would easily be a killer app. If they wanted to do it it would've been done at launch. I think there are other things at play here.

Well I'd be happy with Bedrock on Quest. I usually play with friends in a realm, so parity between Quest and other platforms would be ideal.

This would be a major smash hit and you would be foolish to not include this on the quest library. This might just be an opinion, but it is one shared by thousands of quest owners.

If you're going to do Minecraft on Quest and go then please make the hand actually movable like you see on that mod Vive craft I would like to actually feel like I'm in the game not have my arm melted into my body I'd like to be able to swing my arm so using the controller and see my arm in game moves well that's the one thing I ask

This is a reply to the official comment: We don't want to play with a shitty controller on a bedrock version. We want it to be immersive like vivecraft. Y'know 6DOF. Oculus Touch support. If yall are keeping it bedrock don't bother porting it. We can all just sideload the gear vr version. Its the same thing pretty much

Edit 1: Mojang i think you should listen to the community on this and bring java instead of bedrock. I'd even pay double the price.

Edit 2: EVEN BETTER release minecraft on quest with both a java (vivecraft) version and a bedrock version for people who arn't a fan of the vr controllers and release them both for the same price so people can choose one or both to play on. Sure it will take a little longer but the community can wait

I agree Minecraft should be on the Oculus quest due to the fact that this is the most cost effective way to get into vr and I feel in the future many people will be playing Minecraft on the the quest. Also Samsung has got a Minecraft vr so I feel the pioneers of vr (Oculus) should be able to do so and do it better.
    Thanks

Beat Saber went platinum, true that's across all platforms but there's so much money to be made here. The Quest community needs this!

For me personally, every current game on the store is lacking that kind of a world immersion that Minecraft can provide. In my opinion, this is a game that will be on everyone's Quest library. The freedom, the endless worlds, the creativity of the community. I truly believe that Minecraft VR for the Quest can bring something big and exciting!

I love playing on my Oculus Quest and would love to see Minecraft launched on the platform. It's such a fun game and It would be amazing if they chose to support it just like they did with the Gear VR/Oculus Go and Rift Headsets! What's one more? ;)

Adding Minecraft on the Oculus Quest would be the best thing that has ever happened to the quest. Not only would it greatly increase the amount of Minecraft copies sold, it would increase the sales of the oculus quest as well. And I’m always in favor of bringing more users into great platforms.
