Yes this will spread more VR minecraft ers and will make Minecraft more popular because the Quest is standalone!
Minecraft really needs more official vr options and it would be amazing if it acted like the vive craft mod with full 6dof.
I want to place blocks in the full 360 degrees
This would be great because so many more people could play minecraft in VR because there is no more need for a beefy PC to run it, this would be great Microsoft. The quest NEEDS a game like minecraft
I would love to have that because me and my friend are great at Minecraft and we both have a quest so if we played it it could be the type of experience where you are basically playing the game for the first time
i love what you said about adding Minecraft to the Oculus Quest that would be a great way to expand in the vr universe. since the only vr headset that consists of Minecraft VR is in the Samsung Gear vr.
If there was some way to count up how many hours I have in Minecraft it would easily be over a thousand. In all of that time I never thought that I would get to swing that pickaxe myself, or build a house with my own hands. This is without a doubt, a great thing to do.
There are 4 games I want most for Quest:
-Jet Island
-Gorn
-Blade and Sorcery
-Minecraft
3 of those are most likely never happening. Please dont make this 4.I think this would be fantastic especially if you could get the hand controls like some mods for Vive.
There's a way currently to sideload Minecraft onto the quest, but you have to use a standard Bluetooth controller.
The Oculus hand controller support would be absolutely phenomenal with Minecraft!!I really want minecraft available on the Oculus quest. Ive always wanted to be placed in The World of Minecraft. And i Believe that if it becomes available on the Quest it will be life changing
One more desperate for Quest support. Only version of Bedrock I have any interest in.
I thing the grip buttons should be used to scroll through your inventory. The right trigger for hitting/breaking and left trigger for placing/interacting. The ABXY buttons should be used for their Xbox correspondents. Overall it should feel like the PCVR version. The characters arms should display your hot bar and you should also be a bbn leader to fight by swinging the controllers. Basically just a port of the PCVR version would make Minecraft and the Oculus Quest much better.
The reason I want Minecraft on Quest, is because it should ALREADY be on the Oculus Quest.
With the wireless capabilities of the quest playing minecraft would become a truly immersive experience where users would be able to literally walk around the fantasy world of their making!
I was very sad when I heard Minecraft wouldn’t be on the oculus quest. Minecraft is one of my favorite games and it would be amazing to be inside the game in VR. Oculus quest is the most affordable VR (not including go/ gear since they don’t have 6 degrees of freedom) so it would be amazing to have Minecraft on it.
You should REALLY put this on the quest
A very high amount of people bought the quest because of minecraft (just like me) I thought you could actually play it, but I was very disappointed because this is the MOST SOLD vr headset in the market rn, with 350k units sold
I just want y’all to know that this is a very great headset to port it, you would get a lot of buyers
If you REALLY can’t put it on the quest because of the quality or something like that, then tell us, but we already know you can, because sideloaders already can play the gear vr version
This is a no brainer. Is there any better app for the wireless, world-scale experience that Quest can offer?
Minecraft is the best game ever. Now Minecraft on the Quest would be even more amazing! I bought Minecraft so many times (3 times on Xbox, 2 Java, 2 PE, 1 Nintendo Switch) and I would buy it without a doubt on the Oculus Quest!
I support this...but, I completely understand why this cannot be a possible. Of course, there are hardware/software limitations and internal issues, but I believe that community power and advice can overcome any and all of these options.
This would be a fantastic and immersive way to play. I can think of a couple of friends that this would bring them back to Minecraft.
I'd love to build a world in VR! Please bring Minecraft to Quest!
I've never even played minecraft, but if it came out on the quest I'd have to get it. What I love about the quest is the controls are so intuitive and it's so immersive it really makes the games come to life.
I want to ride a virtual rollercoaster badly in minecraft VR. I have a PC but not powerful enough for regular VR, so the Quest would do it.
Minecraft is one of my favorite games ever, and I know personally many people who would buy a Quest just to be able to play it in VR with friends around the world. Would be an instant day one purchase for me, especially with a variety of locomotion options (teleporting, smooth control stick movement, gamepad, moving the touch controllers up and down like walking, etc.). PLEASE make this happen!
