I would love it if mining and hitting like with swords and pickaxes would be amazing and also smooth rotation with an analog stick

    Yes please.
I had minecraft in gear vr, on mobile and ipad, even on the 3ds. I would be so nice to have it on the quest. I was so disappointed when i bought the quest that there was no minecraft for it. Minecraft is so perfect on VR.

This was the closest I was gonna get to playing Minecraft with my friends and family, you had to ruin it with bedrock edition, there are so many people that won’t buy the game because of that, we want java edition, please, I beg you

I disagree with this. The oculus quest is no different to any other headset, there’s no reason you can’t put java edition on the quest. If I wanted to play bedrock edition, I would turn on my Xbox, and if I want to play with my friends and cousins, I would play java edition. People like java edition more, you’re going to isolate a lot of people for not putting java edition on it instead of bedrock edition. This was potentially the closest non pc gamers could get to play with their pc friends. And now they can’t. People want java, not bedrock

Quest has already had one app that has sold a million copies. And there is no controller attach rate issue like there is on Gear VR and Go since all Quest users have Touch (which covers the necessary input scope) and therefore _every_ user is a potential customer that has all the equipment needed to play Minecraft.

Surely then this is a reasonably attractive proposition now.

I've just watched OC 6 AND MINECON 2019 with my 12 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER hoping for an announcement of Minecraft on the Quest.Nothing!

Are you guys even listening. You know it'll be huge and the new announced updates are awesome.

We love Minecraft and want to experience it on the quest in VR,legally.

Please at least tell us that you are working on it.

Not many games on the quest seem to have a endless amount of time to replay. However Minecraft does. Minecraft on the quest would bring in a whole new market for vr as replayable games on the quest are currently very scarce

I'm just baffled by the fact it's taken them this long to capitalize on the opportunity.

Common! How much longer are we gonna have to wait, JUST FOR AN ANNOUNCEMENT on the Quest version?!

Both OC6 and Minecon have come and gone, and yet we got NOTHING!? They better not be holding it back for some business deal..

Having Minecraft on as many platforms as possible just makes sense. My kids play on Xbox or their phones, I play on my Oculus Rift or my Xbox or phone, but making it available on the quest would open up the ways we play the game together.

I’m sure this will probably blow up for all quest users and will probably one of the top games out on the quest

I have hundreds of hours into my server on Minecraft, and hundreds of hours on the quest being able to combine the two would be incredible. I just turned the thirty, the demographic for Minecraft on the quest I imagine is quite large. What I assume to be the fastest selling VR gaming device and the best selling game of all time, brought together. I'd happily pay full price plus a premium to own a copy of Minecraft on the quest. Please Mohjang, you are our only hope.

Just a port from the gear vr edition with controller support would be amazing, I hear on the sub Reddit for the quest that it already works great and supports 6dof, I don't want to pirate the game, plus I want controller support, so I haven't actually tried it myself, but it seems like most of the work is done.

Also this is probably the most asked question on subreddit for the oculus quest.

While I am very excited that I will be able to play Minecraft in VR again soon thanks to the Oculus Link, I think it would be a huge opportunity for both the quest and the Minecraft community to develop a bedrock version for the quest.

Due to the system's portability, this would give a new way for people to share their realms and creations with others.  They could just drop their quest in a bag and bring it along.  This version would also be a fantastic way to tie in what is arguably the most popular game ever with what is showing to be a very promising new platform.

Please work through the necessary hurdles to bring this wonderful game to the Quest!

I would love the Bedrock version on Oculus Quest. Minecraft is fantastic in VR and the new mobile oculus quest VR system couldn't be a better fit for Minecraft. You'd have a day 1 purchase from me.

This would be incredible!! I'll honestly take anything at this point but he's what I think would be good.

Basic : stability fixes so it doesn't crash as much as the gear VR version did. Integrated Xbox account login in the app so we don't need to wait on Microsoft releasing an Xbox app for the quest.

Big ask : any kind of touch controller support would be great. Ideally there could be motion controls but even figuring out how to map the current Minecraft layout to the quest controllers would do a lot.

Huge ask : update your Oculus PC version of the game to use the same systems you build for quest so that when Oculus link comes out we can plug into a PC to up the settings without having to use a different input system

Minecraft was the #1 most used app on my CV1, which I sold for a Quest. It was also my #1 most played Gear VR game. It's really a showcase for what VR offers, and would be a flagship title for the Quest that would sell loads of headsets as well as Minecraft store content.

This platform is rapidly growing. Any quality game (such as Minecraft) or well known game (such as Minecraft) would certainly bring seasoned players back in as well as new ones.

One of the very frequent first questions that comes up is “How do I get Minecraft on Oculus Quest?”. The community needs a way of being fully immersed in their favourite game that doesn’t involve sideloading, magically connecting to steam, and somehow streaming vivecraft from a PC. This does work, but it’s downright annoying. An official title that is entirely local on the device would be far better in the render quality and in the overall quality of the game.

Minecraft is such a fantastic game and it’s a shame that it is limited to computers, consoles, and phones. VR is the future of gaming. Please be a part of that future!
