Aliza Matthewa we already have bonsai trees. Just put a sapling in a flower pot. They look great and make sense too.

I don't like the sand accumulation. While it does make sense, I think layers of sand like layers of snow would not really work so well. Maybe in a sandstorm crops won't grow and entities can't move...
