Kraken Boss

 Hey guys,

My idea is to add a Kraken Boss in Minecraft 1.13. He would live in a cave, not far from the wreck of the boat he sank. The Kraken would be asleep until the player gets too close to him or attacks him. Then the fight is launched, a bossbar appears. His attacks would be: - Ink Jets: The kraken draws blinding ink. - Attack with the tentacles: The kraken attacks the player with his tentacles. -To catch the player: the kraken uses his tentacles to catch the player.

The Kraken could drop his heart that would serve to craft a scepter used to go into a new dimension composed of 90% water. There would be exclusive fish and new monsters like pirates.

Kraken ink could be taken from an empty bottle to make potions of blindness.

I had already posted a suggestion that had 53 votes before the update, would it be possible to bring them back please? And if not someone else to post a suggestion before me for the Kraken, here is the link:[link removed, link no longer exists]

    Yeah that was me. I really would like to see this implemented into this game. I really like some of your ideas as well! Also, if you are playing with friends, and the Kraken attacks your ship (goes back to my idea for larger ships), the Kraken would also grab one of your friends (one of the players) and try to drown them until another players shoots an arrow, trident, or bullet (another idea of mine for flintlock pistols and blunderbusses) at it. This was just another idea I had for it if it was implemented.

    Wow, sounds great, It would be cool if it could drop something called "the mini mantle" (the mantle is the weird hat lookin' thing on a squid's head) the mini mantle would be a hat that grants water breathing, however, it would have to be fuelled by ink sacks, it would be pretty awesome.

    Love the idea but a new dimension is a little much. I love the ink idea and I love his drop. The heart could definitely be used to craft something cool. Maybe it could add on to the conduit power. Late game under water lol.

    I love the idea of a kraken to deter players from shipwrecks. A mob that prevents loot rushing early game might serve as a useful balancing factor and an entertaining challenge for players!

    Johnny Gunther I have to disagree. I think a fantastical ocean dimension would be really cool, but it couldn't be just like the regular ocean. There has to be fantasy elements, such as possibly giant coral, giant bubble ecosystems, stuff like that.

    I agree, Krakens are pretty much bigger versions of Squids right? And since the squid and guardian are mobs that hate each other, I'd say that It would be pretty cool for the Kraken to rival the Elder Guardian(s).

    i liked your creativity, but dont u think, take a look at wither, at ender dragon, at creeper. they where never existed before minecraft and now they are symbols, my grandpa (89 years old! cant hear!) knows what is a creeper! they are unique, not repeated. you know? got my word? i mean this boss is not very good and cant turn into a symbol. i like the idea of a ocean boss that looks like squids, but forgot that part of your idea. about water dimension.

    You never know. Also you're right. We don't really need an ocean dimension but it could be a planet. I mean it is Minecraft.

    I mean I like the concept but a boss in the overworld without manual summoning? That's really the only problem I have with this.

    The dimension idea is maybe a bit too far. Minecraft dimensions need a use, and a theme that can make other mobs that couldn't simply be transferred to the overworked with the same effect. Another thing, the kraken is going to be pretty big. Maybe another boat should be added, as it is a giant squid, so it would live under water. I think they would more likely be too hard to take out on your own. As the kraken destroyed many many ships in its legends. I think it would more of be something you avoid rather then want to fight. However, cannons could work to defeat it. Maybe i'll make my own suggestion about this. I think the way you'd kill it is by shooting it's tentacles, after which it would rise from the depths and you could shoot cannon balls into its mouth, or go inside it to defeat it.

    The idea is awesome but a new Dimension is a but too much i think, so with the heart you can maybe make magical wand or a ocean breastplate with special effects :)

    I would really like to see an underwater boss, giving more use to the trident, but I don't think this is the way to do it.

    This is an awesome idea I love this I’d imagine like giving it its own like home or like hide out or something like a bigger ship like a frigate of some sort. But this is actually really cool and I’ve been wanting something like this since I was a kid the beta and I’d love to see it

    I agree upon everything you said, but I would add that the scepter is used to activate a structure you build, like flint and steel with the nether portal.

    Eh, bosses that spawn naturally in the overworld are kind of to dangeroes to survive the overworld and would pretty much ruin the game

    Why not make the heart like a blood diamond that is used to make that scepter you spoke of. And the scepter can make you instantly teleport to the other dimension's spawn or bed there, and you can only use it during lightning storms, when you teleport in storm there would be lightning that strikes where you were teleported from.

    The water could be breathable in the 90% water dimension and you can still swim through it, also water would be clear and pretty. No Magma blocks

    sorry for this 3rd comment, maybe not a new dimension, but instead a different planet with similar styles from overworld and has like large natural structures or natural stone/grass bridges with like a blue type of grass color and has some of the original mobs but also new ones
