it would be perfect
Imagine fighting the ender dragon in bruh with no cablesI also agree that Minecraft would be fantastic on the oculus quest, if it weren't bedrock but something like vivecraft.
In addition to my other comment, I would just like to emphasise that if this is a bedrock port, then don't bother as the majority if the community ( as far as I know ) are asking for good old java version. I would also prefer java version as I personally think a few mechanics on win.10 / bedrock edition are very strange and confusing which wouldn't work well on a headset like the quest.
Make minecraft free in the oculus quest
I plan on getting a quest and I would definitely be happy if this happened
This should be added to Minecraft, if it was, more people would buy Oculus Quests more, which would give Oculus some money, and more people would also buy Minecraft, which would give Mojang and Microsoft money. It's a win-win.
I definitely agree that this should be a thing, I’ve loved Minecraft and every version of it, virtual reality would be an amazing and new experience they would also make lots of money off it
I've tried it sideloading on both Quest and Ho, and I have to say that on the GO is way more enjoyable. The quest is more a standing device for heavy games I think, the Go is very relaxing and light, I love sitting on my couch and enjoy (hours.. really) playing minecraft.
This would be great. Unfortunately this would most likely be bedrock since that's the version Microsoft are trying to get everyone to play.
I believe this idea is absolutely brilliant. I’ve been playing Minecraft since alpha, so when I say this would be game changing, I mean it. Imagine, you have some free time at school or work, you pop out your quest, load up your world, and forget about everything just for a little bit. Like a portable nostalgia escape. It doesn’t matter what version, there’s no need to complain. No matter what version, the game is going to feel much different. I mean, you aren’t using a keyboard or gaming controller, so why does the version matter? Another great factor is that the game is in its second prime atm, which would help with revenue and popularity of both the quest and Minecraft itself. There are so many roads you could go with this as well, connecting through so many different platforms, since the quest is connected to phones, not needing a laptop or gaming pc. I’m curious to everyone’s thoughts about my opinions and thoughts, so please let me know.
Mojang will definitely do this. It’s been only a few months and already this is the top voted feedback that isn’t under review or announced and second overall to the cave update one (which I think is a great idea by the way) It wouldn’t be very smart not to release Minecraft on the quest I mean this would be the top game on the quest instantly! Beat saber doesn’t stand a chance. Also Mojang please do bedrock edition. And 6DoF!!!! Also just a minor thought when your flying on elytra to turn can you tilt you head so it feels more like flying than just looking where you want to go. Anyway please do this soon Mojang. Bye
I totally agree, and, this will be a reason for me to buy the headset! This is how much i love minecraft <3
I agree but if they add oculus then they should also ad ps vr
The Oculus quest is a good middle ground between the Rift and Gear vr, leaning more towards the power of the Rift with its motion controls. Minecraft is one of the top games for the Rift and is easily playable on Gear. So why not just combine them? Put bedrock edition on the Quest (same as gear) while adding the same functional motion control support like the rift.
I think that adding Minecraft onto Oculus Quest for people that aren't able to afford a good enough computer to run Minecraft for Gear VR. Microsoft and Mojang would also make a STUPID amount of profit off of this so as someone famous once said, "I see this as an absolute win!"
Please make this happen! Not only will it help oculus sell more systems, but it will also bring in more players which will enhance the Minecraft community. Btw, can you please port Java edition to the quest because the red stone works a lot more smoothly. (Don’t get me wrong, I love bedrock edition, but the red stone in Java is a bit better.)
I've been playing Java edition since 2013 and I recently started playing Bedrock edition. I feel like Bedrock would be the way to go for vr because it runs better on less powerful devices. People could use their already purchased marketplace packs. Plus, in the future of the project, online multiplayer would be huge for me. Especially cross-platform although I'm sceptical if the Quest would be able to run that much.
i think that this will be a wonderful idea. Currently i have an amazing gaming laptop that runs minecraft really well. But I do not have a VR. For Christmas i plan on getting the oculus quest, so i do not need to rely on my pc to play VR games because it isn't built for it. However if minecraft came out on the quest, it would be very fun and a creative way to have fun!
I would absolutely love to play this game on the Oculus Quest. I got SideQuest and an Xbox Controller just to play Minecraft on the Quest but it would be so much better if it was made officially and had the support for the Touch Controllers. This is something that would give Minecraft and Oculus more money. Its on the Rift, GearVR, and I think the Go. I don't see why we can't have the Quest. If it is being made and its just taking a while, I can be patient. I don't mean to rush anyone if its being worked on, I simply, and over 3,000 others, want it to be worked on. No pressure.
The main part about getting the headset was getting all the game you liked from the oculus into a better more assessable game and I personal think Minecraft would work perfectly with the quest and I am surprised that it wasn’t a released game at launch
And maybe make it able to cross-play with pe (mobile) players. That would be cool
It would obviously be a no brainer and with full touch control support would make this even better!
Gosh I really hope this comes.
PLEASE
If I can play it on my phone then it shouldn't be that hard to put on oculus quest
I am hoping to get an oculus quest (my first VR!). I would love to be able to play Minecraft on it. Being in the world would be so crazy
