It could behave similarly to sand and gravel. Since they are made of dust, they should have gravity. A block of powder snow must not be able to hang from the ceiling or float.

If you continue to update this I think that the frostbite effect could be turned into a potion effect that could be shot by strays. Also you should be able to stave off frostbite when you're in an ice melting light level. Also the rest of the snow mobs should be immune.

I really like the freeze damage effect of the powdered snow, maybe this could be implemented into lakes in snowy taiga biomes as well.

I hope lighter mobs get the ability to walk on PS without sinking, if so you could make a potion effect for being able to walk on snow as well, (yes it would be a pretty useless potion) and have these potions in basement chests in igloos.

I think that powder snow should not be washed away by water. If a waterfall generates and intersects with powder snow, it currently looks extremely weird.

Boats should move fast on powder snow so we could sled

I don't know if someone's already suggested this (or maybe it's been added already and I'm just unaware), but being able to obtain powdered snow blocks with a silk-touch shovel would be nice. Unstacked buckets of powdered snow isn't exactly easy to deal with in survival gameplay. Is there a reason this shouldn't be the case?

Because it is so hard to get it when right clicking a snow ball onto a cauldron there should be a small chance of a snow layer appearing inside like a 10%-20% chance

If Powdered Snow turns Skeletons into Strays, it should also turn Wither Skeletons into normal Skeletons, like how a Husk that drowns becomes a Zombie.

If you take a snow golem to the nether it would be cool if the left a trail of powdered snow behind them.

I love all the new little features added to 1.17, including powder snow, but I have an idea that I think could improve it. Currently, when you're stuck in powder snow, you can break it with your fist fairly quickly, and escape like nothing happened. I think that when you're stuck in powder snow, it should take longer to break it and escape, similarly to when you're underwater, or suffocating.

I think related to prouder snow. snow balls should slow a player or mob down for up to 2 seconds

Powdered Snow should keep snow golems alive in hot biomes if they are standing inside of it.

If powdered snow is picked up in buckets, atleast let us stack them by 16. The same goes for water, lava, cod, salmon buckets. The rest (axolotl, tropical fish and named buckets) can stay unstacked.

Powder Snow is great, although it's pretty frustrating when traversing through large mountains.

Its cool but its a tad bit annoying when you are making a new world. I think there should be more options for getting out besides boots and breaking it, such as carrying a lava bucket with you to create heat, or a torch around it that can melt it a bit.

    My suggestion:
If stuck on powder snow, you can climb one block higher if it is powder snow but still remain stuck on the powder snow.

I think it should be harder to mine as it would be more of a challenge

There are a few small tweaks that could make powder snow even more interesting.

    • Magma Cubes that are submerged in powder snow should become immobilized instead of being slowed like other mobs

The reasoning behind this is that the magma within the Magma Cube would cool, causing
it to harden. Magma Cubes have the innate power to remain superheated in any climate,
so they would melt back into a semisolid after leaving the powder snow, allowing it to
    continue moving again.

    • Snow Golems should have unique functionality with powder snow, being able to stand on the block, and would be unable to melt in hot biomes while in contact with the block

Snow Golems are really only useful for obtaining snow layers, as they can only harm
Blazes. Neither of which it can do in hot biomes like deserts and the Nether. At
least being able to obtain snowballs from them if your house is in a desert would be a
nice addition, and if they had a way to survive in a nether fortress using it, it would give
players new creative ways to tackle it.

    • Water should not destroy powder snow

From a realistic perspective, it makes sense that water destroys powder snow, but
from a gameplay perspective, it may limit the creativity of some players. Having a solid
block that entities can pass through is great, but allowing water to come in contact
with it would allow players to create hidden entrances, falling traps that
wouldn't hurt mobs, and could move items from a bubble column into a drop chute seamlessly.

I think this is enough. Oh yeah by the way I use this block in my house why? Because its function is the same as scaffolding but I much prefer snow powder XD

i like powder snow but mojang should bring back the abilty to break bedrock with powder snow for bedrock
