(Dimension) Sky lands

The Sky lands would be like the nether but instead in the sky , it would be similar to the concept that was going to be released when Minecraft was in its early stages called "Sky Dimension" But a bit different. You would get to it by mining a new ore and creating blocks out of that ore , using those blocks you would build a portal similar to the nether portal and light it with a special flint and steel made out of those ores ( You would need to find those ores ) When you go in you get teleported to a heaven like place with crazy mobs  blocks , new items  and maybe even its own boss ( Cause so far pretty much every dimension has its own boss Over world has Elder guardian , Nether has wither and the end has the end dragon ) You could also make special items to decorate your house. A difference it could have to the nether/end could be you can place beds and sleep in them so you could make your own base , also if you fall off the island instead of dying you would get teleported to the over world and start falling from around the same height clouds are.

    I think they should add in the aether because in the “end credits” it says stuff about you not being able to see certain text yet so there should be more

    Why not just use emeralds instead of a new ore?
    Also isn't this just a description of the Aether Mod but with a new block instead of glowstone and a special flint & steel instead of a water bucket?

    I think the idea is great except you could either find the ores and do it that way or you could sleep in a bed and have a chance of teleporting there.(every ten times you sleep in a bed at least  one of those times you get teleported to the Sky Lands) Once you have seen and been teleported to the Sky Lands you can leave and teleport back to them at will.

    It is very good, but I think it should have a dark side too, like herobrine, null, these things, except for that it is like a normal mob, spawn able in creative, and is totally black with white eyes and kills everything in sight, but it should be rare.

    If this dimension had, Aztec like floating pyramids that had vegetation growing throughout and cities on top of floating islands and even rarer Golden Cities that were paved and almost completely made of precious metals I feel the sky lands could be something magnificent. The pyramids would be on Huge islands that housed dungeons and many traps, monsters, and a new monster called The Emperor/The King when you step into the hall he would be on a throne made of gold with one diamond block in the middle. He would raise up undead warriors that wielded a new weapon called the Maquahuitl (It can be crafted using 4 obsidian 2 each in both the left top and right and 3 sticks) This weapon would do 5.5 hearts of damage. The Emperors attacks would be a shiel bash that stops you from moving for 2 seconds, a chop with a huge Maquahuitl that does 8 hearts of damage. Before he attacks he takes about a second to put the weapon behind his back and before he attacks he lets out a roar so the player is signified of an attack. Also, his eyes open and turn red.

    I love the idea of another dimension I think it is long overdue I think it would be cool if it were an anti nether but it would still have some difficulties I think there should be godly temple’s in the clouds with new enemies and I think we should bring back some of the old ideas from Minecraft’s past like giants I think giants should be in the sky dimension sort of like mini boss’s but most importantly I think there should be a Red Dragon the main boss for the sky dimension I think it should be a little bigger than the ender Dragon with a few different move sets so it doesn't feel like the same fight.

    I think this dimension should be created with the dream dimension. So basically you would enter this dimension through a bed. I also think also the mechanics and properties of the overworld should be flipped, or changed to effect the gameplay where it is a totally different way of surviving.

    I don't think you should be able to build a house anywhere but the overworld.

    Sky dimension is now a need. With the introduction of netherite players will need a reason to seek it out. Every other tool material has a need (wood gets started, stone underground, iron gets you to diamond, gold enchanting, diamond unlocks endgame) but short of “netherite is better” or flexing what obstacle does it help overcome? I think that obstacle is a sky dimension. Taking advantage of netherite’s knockback resistance players won’t fall to thier deaths as easily. Driving them to seek out the rare material.

    Add cloud block to this dimension. They should act like slime blocks but have 0 stickiness. And are more bouncy.

    You can enter this dimension by creating an altar that include crying obsidian and the dragon egg.

    What if this dimension was the opposite of the nether in transportation every 8 blocks in this dimension is 1 block in the overworld sooo... 64 blocks in this dimension is 1 block in the nether.

    That sounds like fun I think maybe to get there it would be cool if you used that special ore to craft the base of a beacon and going in that beam from the beacon would send you up. Rather than another portal

    Im pretty sure the guy that made the ather mod works for minecraft now so i mean its not stealing if hes apart of it lets go! Sky dimension !

    They should merge the sky lands with the end, when you defeat the ender dragon you are taken to a bright beautiful sky world threw the little tiny portals

    Well, Mojang did hire the creator of the Aether mod, and said back in the day that they weren’t going to add the sky dimension because the Nether wasn’t updated yet, and here we are with the Nether being updated. So there’s a possibility they’re working on this as we speak. Not a huge one, but an existing one.

    If there is an "aether" update, the portal, if one is used, could possibly be made out of glowstone blocks

    I like the idea that this could work as a redesign of the end. Placing small island closer together to feature some sort of sky block wars arena that let users play like that. Could just work by having respawn points using a respawn anchor. I also would like that if you fall from the end you get teleported to the overworld, very high in the sky.

    Sky dimension will perfectly fit if there is a "Sky update" in Minecraft which adds new birds and a rare bird that can be used for transportation and will lead you to the Sky dimension portal (kinda behavior of dolphins when they lead you to treasure chest).

    Sky land would fit if there will be Sky update in Minecraft where more birds will be added and a rare one which you can ride and the only mob that will lead you to the sky dimension

    The portal should be made of luminous obsidian or crying obsidian and to activate it, set it on fire with a soul lighter (a steel and flint lighter crafted with soul sand that when used creates blue fire) then seize a luminous obsidian portal. or obsidian crying and setting it on blue fire to go to the new dimension

    Sky update it Will be a good idea before nether update the sky update is a place where You embarked a journey trought skyes You can posabbly do is we're You can find all sort of dragons You can ride dragón tame it with fish and if You want to get a dragón You better go to the end and Beat the Ender dragon get the egg take the dragón  egg   to the overworld in the inventory You can see all sort of a colored dragón eggs
    When You hatch it tame it with fish and when it fully grown it Will protect You from monsters and You can fly with the dragons and tamable please support me so we can all fly with the dragons

    The developer of the Aether mod works for Mojang now, so perhaps they could integrate it into the main game. Preferably they should use the Aether I designs (since the Aether II messed with everything and isn't Minecraft-y.). I think they should introduce a special furnace where you would combine glowstone and Purpur to create a block which would be used to build an aether portal.

    I feel that if this dimension were to be added, the major question would be how it fits in with the "story" of the game.  as in, you start with nothing in the overworld and then get ender pearls, head to the nether to get blaze powder, and then use those to open the end portal and end credits.  If the sky dimension were added, where would it come into this?  My suggestion for this dimension is that after opening the end portal, the player realizes that the portal is unstable.  It requires one last ingredient to be complete as it is most likely an ancient relic.  The sky dimension has the final ingredient to stabilizing the portal and it would be very difficult to obtain this item.  probably guarded by some monstrous boss mob (maybe like a hyppogriff or a cockatrice or it could be some ancient looking mech like the redstone golem from Dungeons but flying)
