Concrete and Terracotta having Slabs, Stairs, and Walls

I really don’t like how you can’t craft concrete slabs and stairs. That basically means that we don’t have ANY colorful slabs and stairs. I really wish Mojang will add this because that would allow people to be more creative with what they build.

Edit: As you guys have mentioned in the comments, terracotta could use it as well.

Edit 2: They could also use walls, that could expand build options even more, and when it comes to build options, the more the merrier.

    Lo que sería q minecraft sea un poco mejor que agregarán armadura para los perros, ya que los caballos tienen para que duren más, mientras los perros es amigo del hombre, ya que ellos nos protegen de criaturas hostiles y ayuda a matar más rápido a mobs pacíficos

    I think terracota stairs/slab should im not feeling the concrete ones. The concerete stairs and slab seem I dont know something classified as  "unvanilla" but maybe an already installed but optional mod kind of like how education mode on bedrock is there but optional and could include things such as vertical slabs too?

    This is a really good idea because right now there aren’t many brightly coloured slabs and stairs, so it would add a bit more variety. The good thing about concrete is that the texture is smooth and bright, so it’s good for builds like pixel art. Having slabs and stairs means we could add more detail.

    But if this happens....there will be no creativity in players.All of us will just choose concrete and terracotta slabs and stairs.

    this would be good for us builders like what are we going to do right now is we need to build small or we just need matching stairs to are builds just bc they are modern doesn't mean we have to use water elevators or it all looks off. So yah we want this so bad it would add a lot more colorful builds with more details.

    I dont think this is a good idea, I think having less blocks lets you be more creative with what blocks you use. You have to think more. Instead of taking the obvious choice of concrete slabs you might take Red sanstone slabs instead if youre building something with orange concrete.

    Also, Minecraft already has too many blocks. It would be pretty pointless in my opinion

    I think the stonecutter could be used to make the terracotta and concrete slabs, stairs, and walls. What if we could also use the stonecutter to get different textured terracotta and concrete. I would like to see a brick texture and a wood simulation texture for terracotta and concrete.

    Examples: terracotta bricks, large terracotta bricks, light blue terracotta wood simulation, light blue terracotta bricks, light blue concrete wood simulation, etc.

    Basically, there would be a brick, large brick, and wood simulation texture for all the terracotta and concrete blocks. The reason I want this is because I have seen different colors of bricks and wood siding on homes and other buildings where I live (Connecticut, USA).

    People argument against this by saying it's not needed, and it would decrease the creativity. That is wrong. Just because you don't need it, doesn't mean I don't need it. Just because you would be less creative, doesn't mean I would be. The less blocks you have, the less you have to think. I remember I built a city of gray wool in PE. I really liked it. I thought it was creative. But my bulds of today are far better.I am now much more creative. And I use pretty much all of the blocks. Not all, and not all of my worlds use the same ones. Yet I want more blocks. Red sandstone, for instance, it just doesn't go well when you need red terracotta or concrete. Sometimes do mix them; I already do that! But I often just want the real block!

    This would be great! I was looking for a slab that was a greenish colour for my hills and had to resort to mossy cobblestone. It would make sense anyways since we already have brick variants. It’d just add so much more colour to builds.

    I’ve really wanted new block types for builds and I do think it’ll access allot more creativity out of minecraft. But I would like to see them spawn naturally as well. For example terracotta slabs spawning in badlands mine shafts.

    If this is introduced to MC, could it include gold diamond and other ores? I’m working on a build with a capital-like dome of gold, and it would come much easier with these options.
