Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

There is colorful stairs and slabs for starters; prismarine, warped/crimson stairs etc. But it is a nice concept of using concrete to make stairs slabs and walls opening a huge diversity of building options to builders, but real life concrete is not used to make stairs, because it is too hard, but slabs and walls would seem realistic and also as you said, colorful.

I hope Mojang will soon add concrete slabs and stairs.

Concrete blocks are such beautifull blocks to build a city, but the lack of slabs and / or stairs is a big missing.

Currently I was building a Tripple E Maersk ship in scale 3 : 1. Three blocks is circa 1 meter. One container is 7 blocks wide, 9 blocks high, and 35 blocks long. The complete ship will become circa 1200 blocks long.
The ship upperstructure is red with red railings which I currently can not build because a lack of red slabs.
    So disappointing!

Only a few blocks are currently available as a block, slab, and stairs.
Mojang must give us more building possibilities with 'normal' coloured blocks like concrete slabs and stairs.

I think stair, slab and wall must have more colors because when I build a modern house,I need to use quartz stair to improve somewhere, but quartz stair isn't have same colors with terracotta.

Adding Walls for Terracotta and Concrete would all but eliminate player requests for vertical you-know-whats. Additionally, stair versions would alleviate requests for f*rniture, as the color palette would be more than ample enough for any build. No more requests for carpeted stairs either.

The only reason we don't have them now is because they were added before the Flattening. I surely wouldn't turn my nose up at a "World Of Color Update II".

Yes!! I have been working on an underground cave-to-house conversion and of course I need stairs, so I end up using stone stairs for it all and it really doesn't match the concrete walls at all.

People think backpacks are better than better looking stairs and slabs... That's dumb

Mojang , minecraft should really add fences out of every construction block , obviously except wood , obsidian , etc...

I think Mojang supports builders that use substitute items because it requires some creativity and gives you a challenge. Concrete walls/slabs is not a bad idea, but it's not so likely to be added.

I love this idea. I’m Notorious for building insane stadiums and stage sets and if they could add black concrete slabs it would add so much realism to my sets

This is very important to have in building. I was looking for certain colors in slabs, stairs, and walls, but I found none. Wood and stone currently have very limited color palettes, and it severely limits building potential!

It'd also be great if these materials are easily renewable in survival! Clay is notorious as being impossible to renew in Bedrock edition.

I asked for concrete stairs, walls, and slabs right after they were released in 1.1 in 2017. At the time, I was told there were a limited amount of blocks that could be added to the game. Since that has changed and more blocks can be added, we definitely could use these. I originally thought they would be great for modern contemporary houses, mansions, and skyscrapers. I still want to use them primarily for this idea, but also know they can have multiple applications.

In that regard, I thought terracotta could be more applicable with the same blocks.

I also want this for redstone purposes, as I use colored blocks like wool and concrete to visually separate redstone lines and make the build easier to follow and understand, and not having colored slabs of any kind is a kick in the shins whenever I have to use them as I'm suddenly forced to give up the color coordination I was using up until then, defeating the entire point of filling my hotbar up with concrete. I would really appreciate seeing this glaring oversight fixed.

I like this idea, but why not expand the buidling wirh vertical slabs and stairs or quater vertical colum that cab be placed in block corners to make is "rounder"

I would love this. Me being a builder I try to find mods for this so having it in vanilla Minecraft would be lit
