Concrete and Terracotta having Slabs, Stairs, and Walls

I really don’t like how you can’t craft concrete slabs and stairs. That basically means that we don’t have ANY colorful slabs and stairs. I really wish Mojang will add this because that would allow people to be more creative with what they build.

Edit: As you guys have mentioned in the comments, terracotta could use it as well.

Edit 2: They could also use walls, that could expand build options even more, and when it comes to build options, the more the merrier.

    Gold and other ores with stairs and slabs would also be nice. I’ve been working on a capitol building, and I’ve had to use copper.

    I love building and I like building colorful things, and I love the smooth look and vibrant colors of concrete. I love building in color too. And I love building things with immense detail and that means I have to use thousands and thousands of blocks, which takes hours and hours.

    I really like this idea, so we can build more colour full houses or builds, but i would like they don't add black one, or like that strange colours.

    I loved this idea and hope that developers and Minecraft will someday receive this feature, as having these types of blocks would help make our contractions and builders more beautiful

    In 1.12 , I was so upset of not having any concrete slabs and stairs. Especially after knowing green and blue slabs weren’t there, because that would have completed my secret hideout. I hope this goes in the announced list.

    Yes i love this idea, map creator and builds for roleplay or for builds will be great more variants and color for stairs, slabs and walls it will be great

    Why don't mojang just do it all and add slabs stairs and walls to every single block, currently we seem to have random slabs and stairs and not all of them

    I love this idea, you don't always need to add new blocks, sometimes giving builders varients of current blocks is enough. I don't like having to mod my Minecraft to get slabs, stairs and fences for concrete or terracotta

    Would be really useful. I use a few different variants of terracotta for roads in one of my city worlds. I have to use a subsitute every time the roads go up or down. The best one I found, is smooth stone slabs. It’s very disgusting, yet the best one. It’s really problematic when I make more complicated roads, when there’s turns and intersections down- or uphill. In order to not turn the brain into a soup, I have to use acacia and quartz slabs to preserve some lines in the slab layers. It’s just utterly disgusting.

    Well, okay, how would adding stairs/slabs make this not Minecraft anymore? Classic MC is gone anyway. Go back to an older version if that’s what people want.

    You need to add one or two new tabs to the crearive menu, because the building blocks one is getting large. +1 for stone variants, or +1 for all stairs and slabs, or +2 for stairs and slabs. Put them on the left side of the menu.

    The single most stupid thing about Minecraft is the lack of consistency. Stop adding new blocks until you’ve finished the ones we have. For example, why is there no plain white wall block?

    Remember wool stairs would be awesome to but mojang wants you to be creative like don't have it done for you remember MINECRAFT WAS MADE FOR A CERTAIN REASON?!?!?

    Yeah, I personally think this would add a lot of choice to building. I've often been disappointed at the lack of stairs I want to use, and if terracotta and concrete were added to the choice, I would have a lot more flexibility with my building. The choice of colour would add a lot to a colourful, vibrant scene.

    How is it that we get new blocks like Tuff and Deepslate but they can't be turned into walls or stairs or slabs. What is the point of having a new block that does nothing. This game updates so slowly. Give the people what they want!

    One more vote to the pile.

    Concrete is easily one of the most versatile blocks types in the game, and it's a downright travesty that there aren't slab/stair/wall variants yet.

    This is something that would help builders really diversify there builds even more. It would open a whole new style of building honestly
