Concrete and Terracotta having Slabs, Stairs, and Walls

I really don’t like how you can’t craft concrete slabs and stairs. That basically means that we don’t have ANY colorful slabs and stairs. I really wish Mojang will add this because that would allow people to be more creative with what they build.

Edit: As you guys have mentioned in the comments, terracotta could use it as well.

Edit 2: They could also use walls, that could expand build options even more, and when it comes to build options, the more the merrier.

    I really like this idea, because I recently tried re-creating my house in minecraft, and I had to use stone slabs and stone brick stairs in a weird and (arguably) hideous way. The addition of concrete stairs and slabs would most certainly help this, and other people looking to do more modern builds.

    I agree, I would love to be able to use concrete stairs and slabs because then I would be able to do things like colored staircases, colored chairs and couches, and for really good builders (which I am not) would be able to create structures that are highly detailed and colorful at the same time. Mojang, if you are reading this, PLEASE ADD CONCRETE SLABS AND STAIRS!!!

    As a builder of all different kinds of builds, not having these blocks is really inconvenient. Having these would help to make things look nicer and smoother without having to try to substitute for other blocks

    Wool is not a "stone" block and so would never have slabs or stairs but andesite, diorite, granite, concrete, and terracotta/clay are logically kinds of stone. Terracotta is at least similar to stone but I wouldn't ask for glazed terracotta variants. Mojang stated that all "stone" variants will receive slabs and stairs so it is possible, it's a question if you could say these are "stone."

    That was my thought process too. And besides, people usually make things out of concrete rather than wool.

    Me and my bro realy want this as we are big city builders these would be great to have would be nice to have concrete fence or wall aswell.

    This is so a must for both PC and console I do a lot of port builds and use mossy cobble and mossy bricks a lot to represent see moss but need mossy slaps and stairs there is a great mod for java that adds them but to use that kind of mod in better together blocks achievements

    Unfortunately the legacy console edition won’t be updated anymore, and Playstation is now supporting cross-play, so it’s just Java and Bedrock.

    I wish we had them too. This is very silly since 1.14 is adding lots of stairs.

    Concrete slabs and stairs are IMPORTANT for Sci-Fi/Futuristic builds

    I was a bit disappointed to find out that concrete stairs and slabs weren’t announced. I love how seamless and smooth the concrete blocks look. The colors of the concrete blocks are also vivid and accurate to the various dyes (unlike the warm hue terra cotta blocks have). I highly suggest that concrete stairs and slabs should be added in the near future!

    First off, thank you very much for your immense support in my journey to make this a reality.

    Second, that’s the thing I really love about concrete, they are very smooth and true to their color. Unlike terracotta with it’s clearly defined texture and brownish tint (Seroiusly, terracotta is based on light brown, whereas wool and concrete are based on white, making color get on way more easily.) Just imagine what people would be able to do with concrete slabs and stairs!

    ive been hoping for stairs and slabs variants of concrete ever since it was first introduced in the game. in fact, fence and wall variants would be nice as well just as a build depth thing. as a bit of a creative type, myself, i would much prefer to have as few limits and constraints as possible when putting a build together. and tho nothing is stopping me from doing so anyway, its a much better feeling knowing that i couldve used a smooth black instead of a tiled purpur. there is no black detailing block. without mods, of course.

    I would like to say Glazed Terracotta should also have Slab, Stair, and Wall variants to have that color really shown for even more builds! The possibilities are endless my friend. I will support you all the way!

    I agree with you because in the village and pillage update we get loads of new stairs and slabs but when I check i can't find terracota.:-(  So this would fit in with the village and pillage ferry well.

    Blast Burner, how is the game supposed to tell the difference between rotating the SHAPE of the block from rotating the TEXTURE? Until that is figured out, such a request would be impossible.

    I honestly never thought of that. And because of that I'm know sad. I will still want to see this in game though with or without the Glazed Terracotta option!

    Yeah, real pity this is not an option. Kinda wish it was though.
