Concrete and Terracotta having Slabs, Stairs, and Walls

I really don’t like how you can’t craft concrete slabs and stairs. That basically means that we don’t have ANY colorful slabs and stairs. I really wish Mojang will add this because that would allow people to be more creative with what they build.

Edit: As you guys have mentioned in the comments, terracotta could use it as well.

Edit 2: They could also use walls, that could expand build options even more, and when it comes to build options, the more the merrier.

    Also for stone we have the square which is 4 quarters (whole block), 3 quarters (stair), 2 quarters (slab) and are missing one quarter, this would be useful to add as cornice in builds and as posts etc, imagine a colored concrete wall, white ceiling and then able to add the white for cornices. Also could use as posts for a patio (different to the fence as they automatically join to things and are centered, these shouldnt join and be in one of the quarters.

    Please add this! Concrete is one of the greatest decoration blocks in the game, but you can't do anything house-related without stairs and slabs! Great idea! Upvoted! :)

    Biggest help would be the concrete slabs. They’re a solid color and texture so there isn’t as many challenges graphically or coding wise as it would be for the glazed terra-cotta. All the choices in colored concrete really expands the options for building creativity, especially for modern builds, thematic builds, and replicas.

    This is an absolute must. Ive been playing Minecraft since beta, and nowadays i only play creative. Having slabs, stairs, and walls for each color of concrete, and i guess terracotta would exponentially expand creative possibilities without the need for a texture pack. Im a diehard Minecraft fan, always will be. It brings out my creativity, and inner-architect. I support all Mojang does, but the absence of these, essential building blocks, is frustrating and limits builds. Often forcing players to go beyond the game, and seek what they need from a texture pack or mod. Mojang has added tons of amazing and very useful blocks/items over the years. But adding concrete blocks without slabs, stairs and even walls, has been the biggest tease since the announcement of creative mode all those years ago. Ive been waiting for these blocks, and so have tons of other players. Please upvote this thread, we builders need those colorful slabs, stairs, and walls!! (Honstly i can live without the walls lol) Lets get Mojang to hear us so we can expand our building oppurtunities beyond anything we've imagined before!

    I don't understand how this (as well as diorite, granite, andesite, smooth stone, etc) is not already a thing. Part of the idea of this game (and a BIG idea) is building and yet we're limited in so many aspects of matching our chosen materials. Trying to redo a town with concrete and stripped birch and not only do the birch planks not match the color of the stripped, I can't use smooth stone for stairs for the roof or the stairs to get in. 

    Please please please get us all matched up. Ostriches are nice (and my favorite animal) but I think having some consistancy in our building blocks would be a better use of time. (I play on bedrock)

    I'm trying to make a bunker thing in mc and its made out of concrete and its all white to make it look sterile and this would make it so much better so everything looks nice this could also be nice in mini games as well

     I totally agree, I have a texture I use as Gray Terracotta on Nether Bricks, So I can use the Slab and Stairs. Which makes it hard to use some blocks, Having Terracotta and Concrete Slabs, Stairs and Walls Gives Players to expand their block options and Allows them to add more depth and detail to there builds if We have this option.

    At this point I think we should be able to make stairs slabs and walls out of all stone like blocks using the stonecutter.
    Terracotta, concrete, nether quartz and so on.
    Imagine the possibilities!

    We really need more white options for stairs and slabs other than quartz. Obviously quartz is going to become a lot rarer since the nether biomes are being updated and  that will reduce the area where quartz can be found. Having only one white slab or stair craft-able block seems like a really big restriction on the game.  Diorite doesn't count because it's really a gray block.

    It's extremely frustrating not having these options, so I stand by this 100% !!

    I would use them for colored roofs, chairs/sofas, detailed pixel art, signs, terraforming

    The fact that you can't make concrete stairs baffles me, considering how many times I've had to pour concrete stairs IRL.

    I would love for this to be a thing so that I could make black and dark grey roads for cities and other details to my builds, like colored chairs and couches.

    Concrete is made up of pieces of rock, water, sand and cement, and if concrete is made of rock then it should receive its own slabs and stairs, like other types of stone. Also, it can really add a touch of color to constructions if we don't have only concrete blocks and powder.

    Unlike other blocks, concrete looks very smooth and vibrant and is vital in making structures. It's especially useful in making pixel art. So, if you make it into slabs and stairs, it can look REALLY good. Microsoft, please implement this into Minecraft.

    This needs to be added because I love to build cool creations and I have run into a problem with not having variations of slabs in concrete since it’s a block I like to use I would love to have slabs and stairs to increase my creativity
