Emerald armor & weapons (was: Emerald Weapons)

I think it would be cool if there was emerald weapons and armor. Its weapon strength should be in the middle of wood and gold. Its armor protection should be in the middle of leather and gold.

    No support. Emeralds should stay only money equivalent. 

    Also, no need for new weapon material.  

    It is better to have more weapon types, but not weapon materials.

    If this would to be a thing, it would have to have a special value because it is so rare. Maybe it could be used to get better trades with villagers when you are wearing a full set and Illagers would do less damage to you?

    Emerald armor could work like netherite armor and tools where you still have to get diamond armor first to use in the smithing table, then you could have some benefits when trading with villagers or emerald armor and tools are more enchantable

    You could replace emeralds in the villager trades with gold nuggets and than emeralds become one of the most rare items in the game thus making it very valuable and then you could use it to amplify equipment in a few ways: one you could use 1 emerald in the center space of the crafting table and 7 diamonds to make the diamond chest plate that gives you a special effect like health boost or regeneration., same thing with diamond helmet, leggings, and 2 emeralds.

    Then you could also have an amulet that has special enchants that apply potion effects permanently and same with shields as far as including emeralds in the crafting recipe in the previous comment each equipment improved a different way like speed, resistance, health boost and regeneration.

    with the new netherite armor you would be able to do the same thing with that as well. 

    I think the appearance should also include the emerald so that it looks really cool.

    Gold nuggets should be the currency for the villagers because that makes way more sense for these non mining villagers to come across, gold is something more common in the world of minecraft and the villagers would not have emeralds as plentiful as they do because of its rarity.

    Also, why have something so rare for it to be so easy to get. This makes no sense and it needs to change because it is just a missed opportunity to have something awesome in minecraft beyond what it is now. If this changes than you could have so much more in minecraft that will change survival minecraft and pvp for ever.

    This is proof that the rarity of emeralds and the difficulty of acquiring them is not equal and this does not make sense to me that that this is what minecraft has doomed the emerald to be like. emeralds are torn between being extremely abundant and really rare and it causes it to be useless. lets replace the emeralds in trades with gold or gold nuggets so that emeralds can progress.

    For Emerald Ore, Please Also Place 12-Block Height, And Also The Emerald Tools And The Armor, Please Add, Because I Prefer Emeralds Than Diamonds!

    You can literally find a village within 30 seconds of starting a new world, break some hay bales, trade with villagers, and have 20 emeralds in 5 minutes. If there were emerald tools/armour, there would be no point mining anymore and half the games content would be redundant. Emeralds are not rare at all, and they are meant to be a currency for trading.

    Having emerald tools/armour makes no sense. Making them as strong as iron or even diamond would completely ruin Minecraft forever.

    You can literally get an emeralds by trading 5 melons or 4 wood... Emeralds are a currency and EASY to obtain from trading.
    If emerald tools and amrour were added to the game (which they certainly won't be) they should be as weak as stone and as durable as wood because they are so easy to get. Making them more powerful than iron would ruin the game, obviously.

    Definitely a cool idea, but I'm not sure how the armour's strength would apply as it is somewhat easyish to get from villager trading, sometimes. But it's also super hard to find when mining, harder than finding diamonds.

    If ever implemented, and if ever stronger than diamond, it'd be an amazing addition to the smithing table!
    ...craftable Emerald ingots maybe?

    Here is a solution to the debate on whether emerald armor should be added, with the introduction of smithing table functionality in the betas and snapshots, we can stud iron or gold armor with emeralds, diamonds, lapis, or anything else we want with new updates. tools have a new range of upgrades in reach starting with netherite and continuing with this stuff. also emeralds are easy to get, harvest that farmer villagers crops for him and get rich.

    I definitely agree and think that it would be really cool to have emerald gear and tools. They should also be better than diamond because emerald is rarer than diamond. Also there's nothing that you can do with emeralds even though they are so rare.

    We really need this, because the windows 10 edition version doesn't have a new ore like java edition, we are not able to experience Minecraft the way they are. So we kind of want some new weapons and armor like them, it not this fair.

    And I personally agree with a few of them, don't add it to crafting and smelting, make it kind off like chain armor! Here, this is my idea: We should make it to where once people to a raid, those mobs would drop them. Like the Pillager, Evoker, Umm... I forgot the name of the mob with the battle axe, BUT we shouldn't let the Ravager drop them, we should let him drop experience and saddles. We are going to need that for my next and last idea for this possibly not update. So, my last idea will require a saddle from the ravager, or from Monster Spawners, fishing, or strongholds. But I wanted to be able to craft, Emerald horse armor! It would make our horses look awesome!

    But yet again, not a high chance of this update happening, because theirs a few more updates that could happen THAT ARE Being used for not so useful stuff in Minecraft, But one more thing, I want THIS command to work in Minecraft Bedrock edition, it only works in JAVA edition: /give @p diamond_sword{Unbreakable:1,Enchantments:[{id:sharpness,lvl:1000}]}

     

    And other commands that JAVA edition allows, there are more useful.

    I like that idea but if wood tools are better then what is the point of having emerald tools. Maybe if you have a full set of aurmer villager trades are cheaper.

    I totally agree but I Think the helmet would make a cool crown. I mean come on nobody who has ever played minecraft wished there was a crown and a emerald helmet would show a true accomplishment to the game

    What if there was a difference in what emeralds could be mined and traded? If the emeralds that we’re mined were different from the ones that we traded with, then maybe emerald armor could be considered. I think this was the original idea with rubies

    I don't think the emerald armor is such a good idea is dar emerald is a currency in Minecraft.

    They should be with the protection of diamond but the durability of iron
