    Probably not item, my idea is that wearing emerald armor gives you discounts on villager trades (kinda like villager trades)

    No strength should be between diamond and netherite because you need iron to mine it

    Not sure if damage, damage protection and durability that low for emerald armor would be fair. I think that emerald tools should deal damage between iron and diamond. My reasoning? Since emerald ore is quite rarer than diamond ore and it's a gem like diamond, emerald armor's damage protection and emerald tools' damage dealing should be high but emeralds can be traded for and found easily in loot chests, so making the durability very low like leather would create balance with the armor having 0 armor toughness. A full set of iron armor will absorb 60% (15 defence pts.) of damage and a full set of diamond armor will absorb 80% (20 defence pts.) of damage so emerald armor should absorb 70% with armor points in between diamond and iron, around 17 armor defence points. An iron sword does 6 damage and a diamond sword does 7 so an emerald sword should do 6.5 damage with the other tools having the same rule, damage and speed in between iron and diamond.

    I don’t really like this idea because emeralds have a different use. They are villager currency. Personally, I like what they did with netherite, and that should stay for about a year, then another tier of armor. I don’t think this new tier should be emerald, though. It should go along with either a new dimension or a new metal/ore/block (maybe a fictional material). Minecraft needs 2 things right now: a new dimension and a new boss.

    I think emerald armour should be an upgrade for diamond armour, in the same way that Netherite is. It would have the same protection as diamond armour, but add a status effect to the player, such as a Villager trading bonus.

    I think this could be modified...two types of emeralds. Imperfect emeralds are used for villager trading. Perfect emeralds are for the tools, and this item has a 15% drop chance from emerald ore, but only from a fortune pickaxe.

    Great Idea. I feel like emeralds aren't used for too much and this would make an amazing additionto the game. I also made some emerald stuff to help u visualize.

    Emerald tools are the most overrated suggestions ever.

    No, We do not need tools that are less powerful than gold (Emerald is rarer than gold, it should not be worse.)

    and No, We do not need a tool that's between Iron and Diamonds (Diamonds are not THAT hard to find.)

    With the addition of Netherite, I don't think we need ANY kind of new tool. What we need is a Golden tools buff!

    Other types of weapons and armor would also be legal as more varieties of shield such as emerald, iron, gold and diamond shields
    It could increase the durability of the shield for each type of material used

    I quite like the suggestion that wearing the pieces primarily give you a bonus discount to villager trades. Or even if it is just for cosmetic purposes, it is still amusing to think about as it is essentially the Minecraft equivalent to wearing a suit made of money. Perhaps it could be very gaudy and villagers would make approving or impressed "HmHMM!" sounds when you wear it around them. Again, amusing idea.

    Que tontería de idea, las esmeraldas son súper fáciles de conseguir y arruinaría el juego

    I think that the more emerald armor you have the better discount villagers will give you. There would also be tools because it would be cool

    They should just be novelty items sold by villagers or wandering traders instead of being an actual armor or tool set.

    I think emerald should have the same speed/enchantability as gold but the rest is like diamond.

    What if villagers gave you a discount on trades when you wear a piece of emerald armor? Would that be neat?

    I would like to have the implementation of emerald tools, weapons and armor. The blacksmiths and armorer villagers could exchange:
    - Armorer villager could change the emerald breastplate, pants, boots and helmets;
    - Blacksmith villager could change the emerald tools and weapons;
    - Armors and tools also can be made on the craft table;
    The durability is the same or a little superior than iron, but inferior than diamond. Furthermore, the attack does the same damage than diamond, and the armor offers the same protection than diamond.

    Other possibility, if it is too easy to get the emerald, to craft or the exchange the itens with the villagers, would be to use emerald block instead, and maybe rethink about durability and damage, or even gain more extra protection and extra damage, because it would be 216 emeralds to craft the whole suit.

    In my opinion, Your Idea Is pretty different, as most say It Should be Green diamond gear.

    I think Instead of Emerald gear That Is just weak Starter gear, an emerald crown should be worn to lower trade prices, and should provide haste 2 when ore Is nearby. It should provide as much protection as diamond (just the crown) with slightly more durability then Iron.

    The actual set (not Including the crown) should be between Iron and stone/chainmail, seeing as emerald Is pretty common.

    The Idea of emerald Is that It's currancy, so Villagers will respect you for your rich status If you wear a full set.

    Emeralds are currency. This would be like making armor out of money.

    Ya emeralds are one of the rarest Minecraft ores so there should be armor and tools for it

    Emerald should be stronger than diamond, I feel like. Although you can trade for it, it’s still rare! Also, you use emeralds for trading, too, so it should be more valuable.
