Makaneek It wouldn't work for all lodestone compasses. Only for ones set to do that with the correct nbt tag.

You should just be able to choose the texture with a seperate nbt tag.

One of two options... 1. Use Optifine. Because there are many resourcepacks that do exactly what you asked for. 2. Use CustomModelData.

You could always just use the "set nbt" thing.

I have the same problem. Unfortunately the best solution is to just get a better computer if possible. As technology advances, older technology becomes obsolete.

Wait... are you telling them to dumb it down? Wow, I didn't think it would really matter that much (tarnish gives more "torn" or "ripped" vibes).
