I think that the easiest way for this to be implemented is aquifers--maybe some of them would spawn with glow squids, much more glow lichen and maybe a couple other unique features

Maybe after a minute or so, it could slightly burn you ever so often like magma blocks.

This would make the game unplayable in hardcore mode. None of this makes sense--you should be able to try and kill the warden if you want to; the developers just didn't want to incentivize it.

You need to post each suggestion individually. Skis would be nice for travelling down mountains, but everything else isn't really necessary.

In another post someone suggested that hoes hit and deal knockback sideways. This would definitely make hoes viable without necessarily making the other weapons worse.
