there should also be a new kind of fire: the frost fire which is a cold cyan fire that gives instant frost damage.

new ores don't have to be too unique as long as there will be several or many more new ores. It could be used as a decorative block or what so ever.

there could be fallable blocks that have different falling speed based on its weight (heaviness/lightness).

Mojang could add a lot of ores that can be turned to only decorative blocks (or not only) like what Precidentpurp35 said.

if the last stage has a specific frequency, you could automatically pour water from the dispenser to harvest them all.

it doesnt have to be stronger than diamond or netherite. It can be between other armors or just the same but have something special of it.

it is a very useful mechanic to lock doors, gates and containers in minecraft, especially in multiplayer.
