The warden doesn't react to sound it reacts to vibrations and the more vibrations the angrier it would be, it wouldn't be scared by them.

No, the bell should only anger them more.

Maybe it will grow out of skulk growths. I don't like the crafting idea though. keep in mind that the skulk sensor is a living creature and you shouldn't be able to craft that.
