I think this is a good idea, skeletons already know how to stay under leaves when its daytime, it shouldn't be too hard to implement this.

I think they should have a button on the top that takes you to a separate news section like minecraft.net/news or something, instead of a toggle to switch different UIs which is werid

All of these are good but I think the acceleration should be slower / gradual because its more fun that way.
