Personally, I don't understand why they didn't just make the "stonecutter" into a generic "sawing table" or something like that. It's not like they gave us a carpenter villager or anything.

They're rather easily renewable for something like that, though, unless there was a catch. If you had to enchant a crystal before turning it into a bottle of Enchanting, maybe.

I mean, a beacon is already pretty useful for the area of effect you get from it... but at the same time, I don't hate this idea.

So basically, fire that burns living creatures, but nothing else. That might be neat, although it seems like it shouldn't burn undead mobs, then.

Blackstone could be made when lava touches stone in the nether. Although that might be a bit inefficient and troublesome.

I'm fine with changing some of the existing light sources to be brighter, but normal torches are mostly fine as they are, really. Lamps, lanterns and end rods definitely need to be brighter though.
