Minecraft is a sandbox game with no story, except for stories created by the players.  Your suggestion, therefore, would not fit the theme of Minecraft.

They'd better give turtles good drops!  I hate it when they spew scientifically inaccurate political propaganda!  Kill turtles and eat turtle meat!

3. If you have water breathing of any type enabled on you, the oxygen bar should not appear

Similarly, fire should not show up if you have fire resistance.
