Maybe make the world a little bit less... Obnoxious and hard to look at just just make the world Gen look more normal. Maybe just re-textured version of the overworld or nether or end.

Imagine having every block in every colour also, all it would be is a recolouring.

Yep love this! Its fun, funny and interesting, adds some great forms of gameplay and I truly think this os a great "toggleable" feature or potentially unlockable maybe a unique portal? Not sure, nether portal is fine infinite book shelf is a bit wierd though. Maybe craft your own books is the ticket to unlock. I love the idea of getting lost in these worlds ive found villages with vilagers, dimensions made almost entirely out of green observers and pink sea lanterns, one populated by dragons. I wish you could sleep in them still, but meh. Lastly My kids play on bedrock (console peasants) and they feel left out :( please make this a thing.

I completely agree with this and many of the comments! I do believe that simply a signed book could be OP, but if it with something else like a rare item then it wouldn’t really be customizable, would it!

So yeah, I agree with the community at large on this, and I’d love it I feel this was implemented as a feature. Or at least, something like this, as feel like minecraft has needed more dimension-wise for quite a while, and this IS AMAZING!!!

Devs, I don't know if you will see this, but would this be possible to add from a technical standpoint to Bedrock edition? I would really really love this!

I also agree that it should be a cheat option during world creation. Maybe remove joke blocks such as the "Very nice block" or the "footsteps". Keep the infinite bookbox and cursors, those are fine. It could very well be added as-is as a cheat, but I understand if the folks working on these updates and snapshots would rather balance it out more. Just please, keep the infinite dimensions. They add lots of endgame content and are overall very interesting to discover, especially the easter eggs such as "isolation" or "ant". Maybe make it so one must toss the dragon egg into a portal to access them. That way only endgame players may access it. Loved this snapshot, please keep the feature.

Make the portal netherite instead of crying obsidian

My idea for better items needed to craft it would be the end fruit that teleports you randomly and maybe a nether star.

You should bring it back so everyone can enjoy it..

I agree with everything BUT the portal. Should this feature be implemented, it would be an absolutely spectacular opportunity to give crying obsidian a purpose. Since these dimensions can literally just spawn end city boats without end, It would only be fair that a portal could only be set once. Once a book is thrown in, the dimension is then locked into the portal and you cannot use a book to change it. The portal should also have a unique design different than that of the end portal or nether portal.

i agree with this but the easter egg dimensions should stay. i feel that they're great and cool additions and they can be used as adventure map additions as well.

It would be really cool if they kept the portals to randomized small pocket world's that werent very big but fun to explore. I'd really just prefer it be a setting though, rarely do I make it all the way to the end in a survival world before moving on.

Definitely agreed, it provides true additional huge breathtaking expansion content to the game if this is added. Mojang please consider adding this permanently. This should be in java edition too not just bedrock, but good idea!

Permanently add infinity snapshot to Minecraft java and bedrock and besides I think it might be easier to continue off of something you’ve already made rather than just deleting it and starting new I mean you’ve already started it and did the hardest part which is makeing and creating dimensions and fitting them in the game. I might not be a Minecraft developer but I think it would be easier, more efficient, and fun for the players. I think the infinity update will be an amazing update

I legitimately will not be updating past infinite if this doesn't get added.
It's so useful for making a hub dimension which goes to other dimensions. (Think galaxy map which leads to different planets!)
An idea I had is that like with the customizable superflat worlds you can create, you could allow people to write code for the world generation into a book with a similar string.
I think Creative-only or as a gamerule set in world creation would have to be the way.

Even if the devs don't think things should be a permanent survival feature or would be to hard to balance, I think it should at the very least be kept as a feature that is accessible with commands or in the creative menu.

This would be a good feature to add for people who want to do challenges or make interdimensional maps

I agree with a lot of what you're saying, in terms of making dimensions a little less weird (like flower pot or fence gate worlds) but I think the fairest way to balance this would be to make an entirely new item, similar to a book but maybe something like an Ender Tome that you are only able to find in chests in the End, they cannot be edited, they come pre-seeded similar to the books from infinite bookcases, and there should be a new block that allows you to make copies of your Ender Tome so that you can make multiple portals to the same dimension, so you can use it as your personal pocket dimension, and allow other people to come to your pocket dimension and vice versa. You should not be able to write your own Ender Tome because it would be too easy to simply find a seed that has infinite diamond blocks or ancient debris. Would also add a lot more incentive to visit The End more often because you'll always be looking for new Ender Tomes to explore and try your luck at new dimensions.

Of course, you would still be able to use the /warp command in creative, allowing you to access any seed you want without having to rely on Ender Tomes

I personally would love to see this added to the game as a permanent feature. It would add 1000 or more hours to the game and endless possibilities for role-play and survival challenges. Not to mention What kind of crazy worlds Could be found and shared amongst other players if left up for a while. The possibilities are limitless but I do agree there should be a Toggle in the options menu to allow players to turn it on and off if they don’t want it in their world. But in general I would love to see it added in too the game.

I think you should NOT because it would ruin the adventure of the game, plus it would be way too easy to beat the game without finding things

They have to add this, I feel like the inscription table idea is pretty good but what I would do is make it after you defeat the Ender dragon you automatically are able to go to the infinite dimensions. I’m not sure if I can say this but I like the Ender Tombs idea (from MrXurbanGames in the comments) where you actually have another reason to go to the end.

I like it just the way it is. It reminds me a lot of dream emulator for the ps1. If anything I do agree it should only be available if you activate cheats.

My idea is that the infinity portal would be an ultra endgame feature:

There would be the ultimate structure: The infinity tower(Or any better name, I’m pretty bad at choosing names)

Only one infinity tower would generate per world. It can be in almost all biomes and profundities. It would be very big (100 x 30 x 100 blocks), made of stone bricks and its variants. Its shape is like a dome, and in ruins. The inside resembles a castle and it is full of hostile mobs (except illagers) and complex redstone traps. There is a good loot in chests, but the most valuable thing there is the portal, in the center of the building.

The portal room has walls and ceiling of obsidian, and the portal isn’t lit. To charge it, players have to craft the power sphere(I already said I’m bad with names?) with a dragon egg in the center, four nether stars in the corners, one block of netherite in the top, one block of diamond in the bottom, and two eternity totems in the sides. The only use of the power sphere is to light the portal (sorry for everyone who thought in making a sword with it). And after you light the portal, something goes out of it...

The final boss, Superior Level. And this time, you won’t win easily, because your opponent... is YOU!

Superior level has Steve’s or Alex’s skin, if the player uses one of those. Otherwise it is randomly decided. (And can it have white glowing eyes too?)

It uses a obsidian armor (enchanted) and can teleport, mine blocks very quickly with obsidian tools (also enchanted) and give 10 hearts of damage with the obsidian sword (enchanted too). It also has a bow(enchanted), powerful effects(regeneration, resistance, strength and others, depending on the difficulty) and can place blocks. He has 20 hearts of health and attack everything (but will prioritize the player and won’t attack anything until the player is dead or something is attacking it.

If killed, the portal’s color will change to white (or another color that fits better) and won’t change, no matter what. When the player enters it, they will be in a castle or mansion (Superior Level’s lair). This dimension is similar to the overworld, but is always night and thunderstorm, and no mobs will spawn there. Then, a piston door will open and Superior Level will be at the other side, and destroy the return portal when see the player (it respawned), but with netherite armor, weapons and tools, and potions instead of effects. It will try to protect a blue block, called respawning block, which makes it respawn when killed, but with worse equipment. If the block is destroyed, Superior Level can be killed for good. When it is finally killed, the return portal will reappear and the player will have the infinity portal.

Oh, and instead of using normal books, the portal is changed with special books that need to be signed with a kind of enchanted table for books, that costs some levels of Xp.

I think this will be a great challenge.

These are my ideas, hope you liked!
