sound like a good idea except for the despawning part...I think it's pretty good as is.

adding a spawnrate command would be nice to change how often certain mobs spawn

I agree with slimes. They are supposed to spawn in vast amounts in the swamp, but for some reason, I can’t even find one. What’s wrong?

It really does need to be fixed, I've had zombies, skeletons, creepers, spiders, & even witches spawn in my house that's fully lit with torches

I've noticed recently in Java edition that spiders just refuse to spawn for me unless I go near a Cave Spider Spawner.

The passive mob thing - no, please, no. I played a knock-off minecraft game prior to purchasing minecraft that did this, and it is literally the most annoying thing on the planet, especially when it comes to building a home or base. No lie, cows, chickens, pigs, you name it would drop out of nowhere into your nice and tidy yard, tread out your grass and gardens, etc. The only thing I don't like about minecraft passive mob spawning is that cold regions have almost no life anywhere. If anything, I think we could just use a passive (or even neutral) cold biome food source mob. Like a moose or elk.  That and maybe rabbits should spawn the way ocelots do - because they are often taken out by predators before you get a chance to do anything with them (pets or farming/breeding).

Yeah uh, it also needs an update where spiders CAN'T swim because lots of players that don't play in survival or have it on peaceful mode, don't know they can swim and so they think they're safe from the spiders when they aren't lmao

Mobs also should not have a cap of spawning unless on Easy Mode. Hard Mode should Double the spawning rate of Mobs.

i always get skeletons and i have so many bones in my survival world to the point where i can't find many places to put the bones so i have to throw them into cacti or lava using automated machines and this is causing lag in my world so i think this is a great idea

From a bedrock perspective, if you stay in any one place long enough you'll find basic mobs spawning just outside your radius, trust me, wither skeletons spawn in a good amount of you stay next to a fortress bridge long enough. And as for overworld mobs, if you go a certain distance the basic ones spawn, but when I used to go into oak forests, taiga forests that are now spruce forests and smaller patches of taiga than a full on forest like older editions, you used to find wolves easier, as for slimes in swamplands, as soon as you got there by day or night they would eventually be somewhere around, maybe not daytime for slimes, but I have noticed it being an issue in certain cases, but not as bad for me . I know he really wants there to be more difficulty and I completely understand how some of his points originate. He'd like the possibility of monsters spawning in strip mines that you don't light up and endermen spawning on 1x∞ platforms as they wouldn't spawn in a strip mine but on an endstone bridge from island to island to keep you on your toes, although from the sleepiness of the void I would be caught off guard and die one too many a time, ONE TOO MANY, but besides that maybe advanced mob spawning should be a hard mode feature and call it like conditional single mob spawning, or linear spawning if they go down a tunnel in groups.
