Yeah this is a good idea for minecraft every biome must have a season to like autumn or something and maybe if it was added to minecraft it would definitely look fun.

Seasons for most biomes would be quite cool. I think that the seasons should be accurate to what season it is in real life.

I think this is a really interesing idea, it could be done with like 50-100 day/night cycles as one season. I my self have always wanted snow and stuff at my base but I usually don't live in any snowy biomes. This would also be amazing for gathering of powdered snow so you can get it in any biome (almost). If this would be added I definitly agree with what you said about the mobs and crops but I also think it should be a little darker in the winter and autumn and shorter days which would also technically mean more mobs. Days in minecraft are currently 10 minutes long and same goes for the nights. What if the autumn had 11 for nights and 8 for days and winter had it be 12 for nights and 8 for days instead? That's just my oppinion and I really hope this gets added to the actual game!

I feel like this would go well with custom difficulty settings. The ability to turn seasons on/off and/or set the length of seasons.

It is under review since May 2018

I wonder how long will it stay in this state.

I think there should be 3 seasons - Summer, Winter and Rainy. In Summer, it would be like the normal weather and very less rain, in Winter, it would snow and there would be dead bushes but no grass on the ground (I completely agree with slow growth) and in Rainy, the sky colour would be darker (dark cloudy sky, light level 8) it would be raining 75% of the time.

I would rather have each season last 91 in game days so you truly have time to enjoy each season. Doing it tied to the moon cycle would suck because they would hardly last. Although I do think seasons should be an option to enable or disable and you could choose the season you want to start in.

The winter season must be added and the snow falls, and also the player takes damage like powder snow, must be wear leather armour so that they dous not take damage.

That brings up the idea of temperature, it could be managed by some new items or in game items, and could cause lots of damage

It doesn't seem like this would be the most useful- especially given that there's already a lot of biomes that have a seasonal theme. (Flower fields, Ice spikes, etc.) I'd rather see changes to biomes to add a bit more seasonally themed variety. There's one resource pack I use that gives birch forests an autumn aesthetic, and it looks really fantastic.

I like this idea but to prevent your water from freezing you should be able to place blocks above it like a canopy and it would prevent it from freezing and maybe you could build snow men in winter instead of sheering them you dont have to i just thought it would be cool

I think it should be like 20 Minecraft days until the seasons change.

This would be so so so awesome!! I've always loved the idea of seasons in Minecraft. I love this game, but the world can sometimes feel stale, like I'm truly the only one progressing in the game. It would be nice to see the world change around me with seasons.

It would also be awesome for winter time to make the rivers and lakes turn into ice, and for the skies to have northern lights, and have high spawn rates of Endermen (since I've always envisioned Endermen and The End to be cold and icy, since there is no Sun or fire in The End), lower spawn rates of spiders (since IRL spiders typically die in the winter), and even rare chances of polar bears spawning in the Winter time for plains biomes and such. This seasons update could also give an excuse to add the Iceologer (or better named the Chillager) and have them spawn during the winter time. It would be awesome for spring and summer to have higher bee and dolphin spawns. The autumn season could have effects where the leaves fall off trees and also turn red, orange, yellow, and so on.

There's so many possibilities with a Seasons Update in Minecraft. I really do hope Mojang considers this update.

They should also add some sort of greenhouse feature, like maybe just plants surrounded by glass would prevent the seasons from affecting the growth.

I think introducing a "winter" season would be great, but I'm not sure whether it should correlate to the real word, or game time. I would think game time. In winter it would snow occasionally in the appropriate biomes ie cold-ish biomes such as spruce forest, plains. The point is no desert or savanna. In winter it would introduce a new challenge for mid game players as the winter would only come once they had sunk in say 20 hours. The winter would need to be shorter than the summer as it would be a pain for late game players. Also introducing tobogganing would be interesting.
