Chinese Paper Lanterns (1.20)

To fit with the theme of diversity and storytelling, why not add traditional Chinese lanterns to add a different and festive flavour to lighting. The basic crafting recipe would be a torch surround by 7 paper and 1 type of dye. The dye would determine what colour and shape the lantern takes. E.g. a red lantern would be round whilst a blue one might be more rectangular. Paper lanterns could be hanged from the bottom of blocks but not from the side. In addition when placed on the ground the lantern could float a certain number of blocks into the air, spinning around slowly. The player could also stand on the lantern, making for interesting parkour. In conclusion, having Chinese Paper Lanterns would give lot of opportunity for builds, parkour and storytelling.

    I think you should add Mushroom wood and villages and add a sand Door for the sand village and dolphins grace along with glow like from java! Mojang AB you are amazing

    I Think You should add Explosive pottery sherd and bone armor rtrim and a bone fortress in thee soul valley you can find the bone fortress in the bone fortress you can find bone armor trim along with quartz in the chests iron tools and armor (no weapons thou) and scattered skeloton spawners along with bone bricks made with 3 bone 5 bonemeal and  1 quartz  like this

    THIS WOULD BE AWESOME!! it would be beautiful in rtx they shining, I could also put a line in her crafting, so she would be stuck "but why?" here comes the idea! if we made it without the line, and placed it on the ground, it would start to fly! it would be awesome in japanese constructions from my map in the cherry blossom biome! it would be perfect

    There’s just one flaw if they move:
    The game will have to check if there are air blocks around, if there are too many, the game can lag.

    My idea is all about the new Cherry Blossom biome. Can you please add the cherry blossom village, and with an extra detail you can add the Great Wall of China!!! It would look very cool, and maybe some players would put secret bases inside structure!!! (The Size) I think you should make it 1000 blocks long, 16 blocks wide and the blocks would be made of stone, stone brick, cracked stone brick and gold hidden inside!!! This is my idea, and I think most people would love it. (Thanks for your time and Goodbye).

    The new mob I want to put in Minecraft is “penguins” because the penguin can throw snowballs and throws three times each time and you can tame it with fish, the more fish you feed it the bigger the snowballs are, and if you hit it, it will hit you back a lot until you die.

    C’est une très bonne idée,

    • Je pense qu’on pourrait varier le nombre de papier pour la taille/forme
    • Qu’on pourrait mettre de la poudre à canon ou autre chose pour varier la hauteur maximale de la lanterne
    • Et que mettre une torche, torche des âmes ou une torche de redstone fasse varier la couleur ou l’intensité de la lumière de la lanterne
