I think that skulk veins and luminous lichen should not be cut with scissors, but should be peeled off with a hoe. Also, does "Silk Touch" on scissors even make sense? This is in itself a thin tool...

Armor - quite reliable. But fangs are enough from weapons, it's still support. In extreme cases, you can just have a whole flock.

An iron chain and sticky (slime/honey) blocks must be involved. Also, there must be some kind of block unwinding / winding the chain, for example, a reel, or a block containing a reel.

Headstones can't appear out of nowhere. In addition, the character is already immortal, with an infinite number of rebirths. Have the courage to risk at least items.
