Well, there's an issue that arises from this though. Calcite is currently not renewable. There would need to be a way to renew Calcite. Perhaps something like crafting Amethyst with Diorite?

The only thing I disagree with is the "Expensive" Portion. It needs to be relatively cheap, as this isn't exactly groundbreaking in terms of building. probably just 5 Copper Ingots.

Archery as a whole could use Updating. Bring Back the Quiver, Add some Arrow Types (Glowstone Arrows, Ender Pearl Arrows, Lead Arrows), and give the Fletching Table Recipes for all these arrows.
