This doesn't really make sense balance wise or realistically. The piglins have entered the dark ages and forgot the importance of netherite.

But nylium doesn't spread naturally. Maybe make grass and mycelium spread multiple times when bonemeal is placed on dirt, while podzol spreads just like nylium.

But zombified piglins already have gold. It's not extremely effective, but you can hunt tons of zombified piglins to do a couple (agressive) barters with the piglins, when surviving in the Nether.
