Your best bet is to create a texture pack that retextures one of the current cats into Nibs. Shouldn't be too hard.

Already stone tools are useless - they're just a stepping stone to iron. This would just saturate the tiered progression of tools unnecessarily.

Agreed. I'm also open to them buffing the Enchanted Golden Apple's Regeneration status effect - it's terribly weak at the moment.
