In my opinion, there is no personality in performing a cookie-cutter animation. Minecraft is all about creating whatever you want from the tools you are given, not having premade things handed to you

Less PR and excuses please, and more implementing. Actions speak louder than words. It's very hard to trust you when you claim it's a priority then do absolutely nothing for months.

Interesting armchair analysis there, what makes you think it would take that long?

Bedrock Edition is also missing the "Merry X-mas" splash on christmas

It's certainly not. This is one of the small handful of bedrock exclusives. Meanwhile bedrock just straight-up doesn't implement half the things java has been getting the last few patches

The fact that 1.11 contains IDs such as stone_slab4 is very strong evidence that this needs to be done very soon.

This is why I don't take people seriously when they say Java and Bedrock are basically equal. There is literally no excuse for this.

On Java, the bottom layer must be fully solid. The top layer can have any level of transparency. Therefore it's impossible to exploit.

You shouldn't be able to just sprint jump on top of powder snow without falling through, it kind of renders the whole thing pointless

Why not improve performance without removing features?
