    Seriously, I loved the camels!
The only thing I didn't like was that he only appeared in villages, why didn't he appear in the entire desert biome?

Increase the Camel's hitbox so its head doesn't clip through blocks

I like the previously stated idea of adding villagers to ride the back of the camel. It would only require a player on the camel already and to right click any villager and they will be in the back seat (help them get up) and to dismount them, you just have to get off the camel then right click the villager again to help them get down

it would be nice if you could put a double chest on camels, i mean they are pack animals, plus it would be nice to have something faster then a mule to care my stuff.

If bundles are coming I think camels should be able to carry them instead of chests. To use this feature you have to use the camel saddle.

The camel saddle would be made of 2 leather in the top left and right corners and 3 rabbit hide in the shape of a helmet and maybe an iron block in the middle. To make it relatively expensive. And on each side of the camel, you can carry 3 bundles 6 in total.

You have to get off the camel to access each one and to make this feature work maybe dyeable bundles. I think how many bundles you have should affect the camel's speed or health. like the camel goes so many blocks with 3 to 4 bundles on it it would need to cool off or be replenished after a while.

And it could be replenished with a water bucket or cactus.

i am hoping the plan is to make them common desert mobs and or atleast add a unique building for them in desert villages compared to them sharing a spawning method with cats

The high detail animation clashes with the art style of the game. The simplicity is part of the charm. It looks silly when its at the edge of a block and does its walking animation half midair

I think that camels should need to drink water. The more they need the water the slower they go and the smaller their humps are. This would make sense

It is very cool to see that you can travel on camels together. But in my opinion, this mob is very stylistically not universal. Sebto is suitable for the desert and savannah and traveling through the field and snow will look a little strange. I wish they added the ability for two players to mount a horse. Perhaps this should reduce the speed of the horse itself.

Do you think it would be fair if you sit on a camel, creepers won't explode on you?

    • Sprint: For a limited period, you can make the camel run faster and easily avoid the enemies chasing you. So it could be an excellent replacement for a horse.
    • Dash: Similar to sprint, the dash ability allows camels to move quickly from one location to another. Instead of an increase in speed, this ability is similar to a quick long jump, which can be useful in crossing dangerous ravines and water bodies.
    • Speed: In complex terrains, camels are much slower than horses. But in flat areas, they can gain speed over time, which should allow them to easily compete with horses. Racing the camel against a horse to see who’s faster will be our priority when Minecraft 1.20 betas and preview
    •

    • Healing: Just like players, camels slowly heal themselves over time. This ability isn’t affected by their hunger, energy, or movement.

I'd have to say camels aren't just retextured horses, look at all of the cool features. I think the camel is going to be one of those mobs that everyone is hyped about and horses will get forgotten but overtime horses will regain popularity because they just have more practical uses and can run faster on tricky terrain. Still the real decision remains to be taken!

Maybe camels should have carpet similar to llamas, so that each camel feels unique.

Camels should spawn in the new desert subfield, an oasis that would contain palm trees and meerkats.

The camel should be tamed before it can be saddled.

I am not happy with a certain bugfix. Why take away the ability to grow up horses or camels in boats? It was such a niche mechanic in the first place. Ilmango called it the "no fun allowed bugfix" and I agree with him there. Minecraft thrives on little quirks like that, it is a sandbox after all.

Pourquoi les chameaux n'ont-ils pas 2 bosses ? But I think the camel is really very good. Well done Minecraft team!!!

I think we should make camels more valuable by making them carry chests like real life and put carpets on them to decorated/protected from the sun
I live in egypt and love camels and would love for these features to be add my friend

I love the camel! Though putting chests on them should definitely be available! or maybe the same carpet mechanic like the llamas! I just think itll be a lot more prettier and useful!

    - Camels should spawn in the wild

The one humped camels in 1.20 spawn only in villages as domesticated being instantly tamed and controlled after putting a saddle. They only spawn exclusively in villages because the one humped camels, the Dromedary Camels are extinct in the wild and rest of the population are domesticated. But, the two humped camels, the Bactrian Camels are critically endangered but still have wild populations.

I personally think there should be the Bactrians which spawn in the wild -rarely- and have space for only one person mounted with a one SEAT saddle.

    -Camels should use TWO saddles

Solving the single saddle problem. Add one saddle aiming either at the front or back of the camel, or have 2 saddle slots.

    - Camels should utilize bundles

Instead of medium sized storage transport used for horses & donkeys, just use the small bundles (if they're finished in this update).

    - Camels should utilize banners

Just a cool idea, attach a banner onto the saddle instead of the already implemented feature of the carpets on llamas.

I haven't read many of the other comments and some people probably have made these ideas before me. But I've seen the comments saying they should spawn in the wild outside of villages, just so you know, they shouldn't unless it's the Bactrian species. The one hump dromedaries are extinct in the wild.

Baby camels should have bigger heads/necks like all the baby passive mobs. Except the turtle :(

the camel is one of cutest mobs in the game, but I still think there could be a thing or two added to it. maybe there is a thirst bar on the camel and after a while of riding the camel will sit down for a rest but if you got to water by time the camel could keep going. this would encourage you to bring a water bucket to give the camel a drink. and maybe if you forget about water then maybe you could find a desert oasis! desert oases would be super fun and add maybe there is a sarcophagus hidden below the sand in a dungeon with tones of loot! another idea is that when you kill the camel it would drop camel hump fat. but it would just splat on the ground, and you would need a bottle to pick it up. then when you ate it, you would get the regeneration effect because hump fat IRL is really good for you! thanks for reading!

I think there should be more than one camel per desert village, really hard to get your hands on one as of right now

If you look at the sole of a camel, there is a foot ball that looks like an insole. As mentioned above, according to a recent study, it is said that they originally evolved to avoid falling into the snow. In this way, I hope that camels do not fall into powder snow and do not receive damage from magma blocks.
