There should be an Easter egg/secret that, when breeding camels, it has a 1/50 chance of making a Bactrian camel (two humps)

the non-feral Bactrian camel still exits in the wild (gobi desert) and is critically endangered. Adding it to the game could raise awareness

I have a few comments for camels:

    1. Camels walking animation is inconistent with real life. Camels move two legs on the same side at once when walking in real life.

    2. Camels should be able to have a carpet placed on them just like llamas. Do I need to explain why?

    3. Camels should also be able to carry chests and wear armour. Because in real life, camels were used in warfare, and used to carry goods.

    4. Horses should be spooked by camels and attempt to run away from them. In real life, camels spook horses because of their smell.

there should be an option to put storage on camels because that is something i see camels used for a lot, and there should be a max of 1 player on it with the storage, similar to how chest boats work. if 2 chests or some other storage are on it, then it cant be ridden until you get the storage off the camel

If two people ride the Camel, then there should be two spots for two saddles instead of just using one saddle for both people.

Perhaps a Bundle could be attached to either or both sides of a camel's saddle to give it storage similar to chests with donkey, mules, and llamas. Perhaps a drawback to this is that it fills the second seat so that you can only have one rider like a chest boat.

I think the camel walking and running noises should be different from horses, maybe a little deeper in sound but just a suggestion.

With camels added it could be a good opportunity to make Wandering Traders more interesting. Depending on the biome type, the Wandering Trader could spawn with different animals. In the warm biomes they would have camels, in cold biomes it could be llamas and in temperate biomes donkeys, horses and/or mules could be used.  Different skin textures and trades could be given to the Wandering Trader as well depending on the biome.

Camels should require being tamed with cactus first, like with most other mounts.

So i was riding on my camel and as we all know, zombies can't reach you while riding it unless it stands a block higher than you but the weird part (atleast i find it weird) is that enderman also cant reach you whilst they are tall enough to reach you

Since Camels spawn in Desert Villages, I would like to see Villagers make use out of them.

What if when fleeing from Zombies, they will attempt to seek out the nearest Camel if they are unable to reach a bed and hop on the Camel, protecting themselves from Zombies, hmm?

Carpets on camels would be a way to make their appearance more interesting(especially since they don't have an armor slot).

I think the camel should require a saddle for each person. Other than that, it feels like a viable alternative to horses which is great.

Amazing mob! I would say that the eyes should go back to the "common" passive mob concept to make it feel more like classic minecraft. Also since this is a two seated mob, possibly having it require two saddles or a crafting recipe where you put two saddles and some string together to make a "camel saddle"

I like the dashing ability of the camel, but it'd be nice if the cooldown was more visual than it already is, instead of just switching to a boss bar texture until it unlocks, perhaps have it function as a timer counting down?

Will we be able to milk camels?

Villagers should be able to ride camels making the player able to easier move them while also allowing interaction between the two mobs.

Please increase camel sprint ability it feels too much weaker than the horse right now.

    Camel walk is inaccurate.

Camels walk more like giraffes instead of horses, this is called a pace.

It would be cool if the dashing ability would knock back and slightly damage any mobs you dash into. It feels weird to dash straight through a group of zombies while riding such a large animal and having it not do anything.

I really think the Camel could transport mobs such as Villagers on the 2nd seat! No more Boat/Lead/Villagers transport, and mob transport become more accessible and easy for everyone!

Maybe when the Camel sits, you can push a Villager into it and it takes seat?!

I hope this gets implemented, mob transport is a nightmare right now.

When a camel dies, it should drop Leather with rates comparable to horses. Should they also drop Beef as well? Perhaps a new meat item? Perhaps this new meat item has a higher saturation rate than beef but restores less HP.

Since it's still complicated or random to find saddles and the camel uses them too, wouldn't it be fairer to finally allow us to craft them ?

Got only one addition to the Camel, as the features are amazing!

That we can lead camels in a row (simillar to Llama's) but having that iconic 'Camel train' in a desert. You can then have multiple Camels in a row to take with you (perhaps the opportunity to have even more players together while the front Camel is the driver).

When riding the camel, if your head clips into a block (for instance when you ride through a 3 block high gap) the camel's speed slows down drastically. This really becomes an issue when you clip your head inside of a solid block and start suffocating, as it becomes a lot harder to get out.

Also, using camels to get around feels pretty cumbersome, it's slower than horses, can't jump up multiple blocks, can't fit through gaps lower than 3 blocks and you dismount when you fall in water. The only real benefit is that you're safer against melee mobs, but horses are usually fast enough to avoid those already. Maybe consider giving the camel a swimming/floating ability? The Kharai species of camel is a species of camel that can actually swim, so it might be fitting.

Maybe they should be able to scale at most 2-blocks, since they can't jump but are the tallest mount.

Husks can still reach the player. The camel is a desert mob, and so are husks. If the husk can reach the player then the "out of reach" idea will become another worthless mechanic.

Maybe this is caused by the husk's extra tall hitbox on the Bedrock edition.

I think a good way to prevent camels from becoming like horses (tamed for the advancement and then left in a barn for eternity) is to allow players to put villagers on camels. This would solve the lack of intuitive transport methods on land, as minecarts are too inflexible and expensive, while boats can’t go up even a pixel and are just too slow. The size of the camel would prevent it from getting into small spaces, so these other methods would still have to be used for the final bit of manoeuvring into small areas and won’t be completely replaced. You’d probably shift click to remove the villager from the camel, so you didn’t have to kill it.

This ability to transport villagers would encourage players to find and use camels when they want to build an iron/raid farm or a trading hall, and also creates unique storytelling opportunities, as people can add camel riding merchants to their cities, or take their villager friends on adventures with them to trade for food or arrows while out and about.

People want it to have storage, but that would be imbalance and overtake needing the mounts that do have that ability. So maybe no storage option.

The player should swing right and left with the camel when riding it

Could we please make a oasis biome/land feature where the camel's can naturally spawn. The camels spawning only on the desert villages is a bit odd. Like where do the villages get the camels? Also if they were to be adding a Oasis, it would be the perfect opportunity to finally introduce that new palm tree and wood sets from the biome vote.
