    It'd be interesting if the goats horn could be used for a like a Viking War Horn. I think this would be awesome.

    I also wrote a post about it in more detail, but I think blowing a goat horn should summon one of the players tamed horses like the whistleing mechanic in breath of the wild.

    I had a idea for the Goats that could make its current drop pretty useful. The idea that I had was for the goat horn that it occasionally drops when it collides into a solid block. What if the goat horn item could be used to craft the Wind Horn artifact that’s in Minecraft Dungeons? It could be a good item to have if a swarm of zombies or even a mob like the Warden got you into a corner and you could use the Wind Horn like in Minecraft Dungeons to create a windy knockback like attack to distance yourself from the opponent or the player can use it as a way to flee the battle altogether when the Wind Horn blows your opponents back a little bit. Also to prevent the Wind Horn from becoming an overpowered item, I believe that the Wind Horn should not only have a several second cool down like in Minecraft Dungeons, but I think the Wind Horn should have some amount of durability so it can’t be used an infinite amount of times. I feel like if the Wind Horn item was introduced into the 1.17 Caves and Cliffs Update, it could be useful to not only be used for defending yourself against mobs in survival, it could also spice things up in the current combat mechanics in Minecraft Java and Bedrock like when Shields were introduced to the game to provide the player with a weapon which could be used to block attacks .

    Part of the charm about goats is that they are mischievous. So part of their mob behavior should be to occasionally eat dropped items.

    This could also help with server lag.

    Fainting goats are a real thing in the real world. So whenever a goat gets startled or overly excited they fall over and after a few seconds get back up like nothing happened.

    In Minecraft, if a loud noise, such as a lightning strike, TNT, bell, creeper explosion, or goat horn sound near a goat the goat should have a 25-60% chance of falling over. The falling over animation already exists, just use the death animation but instead of showing red from damage just have them fall over and lay there for 5-10 seconds. Then after the few seconds they jump up and hope away.... perhaps if getting the goat horn to drop is too challenging under the current a.i. maybe after the goat gets back up they charge the nearest object that's not another goat, increasing the chance for a goat horn to fall.

    I like the random number of offspring when breeding, however, that mechanic would make more sense attached to the pig

    You could make a crafting recipe for hoofs, crafted from goat horns. This hoof like boots will be equipped in the armor boot section (iron boots, leather boots, etc) and could give fall damage protection. Maybe like a middle ground of both level one and level two feather falling, (basically a level 1.5 feather falling.)

    The goat is totally awesome, the looks, the behavior, the drops, but i would love it even more if it was rideable, it could beba great way of traveling across extreme terrain with their hability to jump, and could also have a combat mechanic with the ramming, maybe tamed with apples i think and it would be funny if once they’re tamed, instead of the heart particles the ram you but actually they throw u on top of them to indicate they are now tamed, idk if they would look weird with a saddle, something more similar to the llama carpets may fit better... i hope someone at least sees this, i’ve been trying to get an answer on this on several ways, but idk if no ones sees it or what😅 im not demandijg a yes or anything like that, i just want to know if someone who could make it happen actually read it😅

    I have seen goat wool boots mentioned in other posts, but what about a whole wool armor set?

    A player could craft leather armor, and line it with the goat wool to resist the chilly powder snow, or the colder mountain climate in general. (It would also just be cozy and cute!)
    I think it should be tricky to shear a goat, if not a lot of headbutting, maybe you can only get 1/4th of a goat wool block at a time
    (seeing as sheep produce more wool than goats normally.)

    The fur lined leather would not have very high armor points, but the benefit could be cold resistance, and even resistance to the slowing arrows that strays shoot at you.

    (p.s. also goat cheese please! little bite sized wedges to remove potion effects instead of whole buckets of milk!)

    I think the goats are a great addition to the game.

    One thing though is that maybe the horns could be used to make some potion.

    Maybe it could make us jump higher and run a bit faster.

    A lot of people like the goat being able to be milked, and I agree, specifically goat milk, but have a different effect when you drink it. Maybe, Instead of curing all status affects like regular milk, it could clear 1 negative effect at random, and keep the positive effects. This would make it unique from to cow milk and be a balanced way to help you if you still want to keep your current positive effects.

    More Color and Texture variations, the current model and texture is fine but having a bit of variations would be nice.

    Maybe even having Goats with bigger horns that deal more damage and have more knockback?

    Using Goats to make cheese would be cool

    What if you could make a goat horn staff. You could charge up and ram enemies for knock back. Enchantments could include quick charge, knock back, and maybe even an enchantment where you could charge up into the air for a big jump. I think this would be a really cool weapon and it would give a use to the goats!

    Goat horns show goat horns should be able to call all tamed pets to the player including horses and sitting animals.

    With the new Beta (1.16.200.51), goats now only spawn one baby at a time, where they used to produce many. A lot of people really liked the fact goats made many kids (good for atmosphere as well as a pet sorta thing). If goats could be brought back to the many children state, the community would be very happy.

    I think goats should spawn more than one baby at a time again as it's a funny and unique feature. from 1 to 5 babies will be perfect.

    Goat horn should be used in a special crafting recipe. Goats should also drop meat.

    Currently the goats have no purpose thanks to the fact that the only item that they drop is the goat horn which currently does nothing useful. This could be fixed by making the goat horn either able to craft some form of weapon or armor or the horn could have the ability to buff any horses that the user has tamed these horses would then go faster a jump higher making horses actually useful.

    The goat horn should have a different sound outside of raids. So when a village is under attack it plays the raid horn sound and outside of raids it plays a different sound as to not confuse players nearby.
