nudelholzsuppe : Cubic chunks would be problematic because the maximum height is 256. So there would be only 16 "chunk blocs" heigh in the biome, which is not convenient.

With the new world height coming in 1.18 this shouldn't be as big of a problem. However, if this is still a problem I would like to see this biome being slightly below sea level to further increase the size of the biome, or the biome being 'flatter' compared to the current generation on 1.18.

I was actually thinking of building a giant biome when I was brainstorming of building projects to complete in my world! I think you have a great idea, and I’d love to see it in the game!

This Doesn't seam like a minecraft thing but maybe you can still just add shrinking and growing potains I think that would be totally awesome maybe even just do it with commands like

    /playersize "11"

I love this idea! Maybe there could even be new mobs that the player would usually not see as they are too small in a normal biome? Such as tiny insects or maybe more mythical animals-- maybe even being able to tame and ride them, a flying mount would be super cool-- especially if there were structures high up. Perhaps flying mobs could have energy so you wouldn't always be in the air, and/or just rare to find.

I also think it would be awesome if you could somehow have a tamed giant animal, maybe the ancient civilization could have a way to tame them as well? Maybe to stop them from being too op, it'd be super rare to find the item you need to tame them, and maybe over time of being outside of the giant biome, they could shrink? Of course, if they did shrink, they should still be larger than the original mob, maybe twice the size. Maybe even cats, parrots, foxes, and other mobs that'd eat insects in realm life could attack you rather than being docile since you'd be like an insect to them.

Also, your english is great! I wouldn't have known you weren't an english speaker if you didn't say anything! ^^

There could be a termite mound made of terracota that would be a castle/cave like structure with any rooms, corridors and big termites for you to fight

imo i do like this idea but i feel like it'd fit better as part of a dimension like if they added the aether then hell yeah but it feels a little too much like a mod to be an overworld thing

A good workaround to this could be a regular biome, but where all block spawn in a 3x3 cube, so if there was a 4 block tall oak tree trunk, it could be 12 blocks tall and 3 blocks wide!

Wow! I love this idea but it is way to big to be in the overworld. This should be a game mode kind of like amplified just a lot more amplified. 👍

This could be an interesting place to add the giant mob, a mob that exists in the Minecraft code but isn't used currently. Another challenge to this biome might be if mobs are big enough to step on you and damage you.

A dimension would be simpler, and there would not be biome clashing.

So I'm thinking if there are giant mobs they shouldn't be just larger versions but new appearances.
Like giant pigs have tusks, zombies have large muscles and claws, skeletons have cracks in their bones and possibly bloodstains, not even gonna talk about spiders, chickens you can see the texture of their feathers and could be hostile because they confuse you for a bug or something,

My concern is with this biome having to be huge, and thousands of blocks across to accommodate the giant things in it. Seems more like a mod than for vanilla.

Great Idea! This will also reveals a pathway to add the giant mob into mainstream survival Minecraft! This would maybe also make mojang need to increase height limit!

    FABULOUS IDEA!

Are you thinking about adding a new mob that is small, but can attack you? Maybe bugs would fit well, a spider of normal size, wasps (with a hive that you can enter and have a special loot like wasp skin)  or even a beetle.

And also it could have a bug that could be tamed, maybe a dragon fly that would help you to fly across the island (but only on the island for not to be overpowered) and you had to feed it with other bugs that I've previously talked.

What do you think of this idea?

Really like this idea. Recently the size attribute was spread across all mobs, so this could probably be done with just a simple datapack. Maybe this biome could also finally bring back the Giant mob in an official capacity! The giant could get some new attacks, maybe the ability to break down certain blocks by jumping/falling? Leaves, cobwebs, maybe gravel and sand?

Chickens could see you as seeds and try to eat you and you could get stomped on by mobs
