Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Dog Armor

 There should be armor for dogs, there would be three variants: Iron, gold and diamond. The armors would only be finding in chests as random loot similar to horse armor. This armor would help keep your dogs from dying. Gold armor would increase dog's protect by 50%, iron would be 60% and diamond would be 70%.

    Have leather armor too! I like to dye the dog armor to make it look like it's wearing a doggie sweater ❤

    I want this to be real, because people get so mentally attached to their pets even if they are virtual. so having them protected will help people feel better about themselves as a good caretaker for said animals. i mean dogs attack others that hurt you they deserve amor in my opinion. we have horse armor but horses are just used for transport. I also think it would be a good idea to make the dog amor repairable kinda like how you repair an iron golem.

    I think it's a great idea but you should also be able to enchant the armor separately, the Netherite armor would be missing, which would protect the dog much more, so that they are stronger and do not die from a creeper

    Yes! We need dog armor because our dogs will die by creepers, zombies, skeletons, and other mobs! We don't need this for cats because they do not fight!

    maybe add a new villager as well (trades emeralds for items to tame animals, and dog armor)- and dog beds, so they can respawn after an adventure gone wrong (they would sit on the bed until we return to their bed and release them)- the crafting recipe would be 8 wool on a crafting table like a furnace- and who knows, maybe the new villager could have a dog bed in its house

    YES! But forget the %ages, just make it work like horse armor. Dogs are far too fragile as it is. We all wind up leaving them at home, and breeding up 1000 dogs just in the hopes that 1 or 2 of them live. I recently brought dogs home across snow biomes, and so many of them got hurt sinking into the powder snow!

    There needs to also be leather dog armor, which can be dyed to match the collar color (or maybe whenever the collar is dyed, the armor is automatically also dyed the same color). Dog armor would include boots and leather dog armor would stop dogs from sinking into powder snow and from freezing in powder snow. Just like for players. 

    Leather dog armor could also include a backpack so the dog could carry a few items. Or there could be a separate dog backpack, which they could wear in addition to their armor. Alternatively, the armor could come in 2 pieces -- boots and body armor -- and then the backpack could go into the body armor slot, so they could wear EITHER boots and body armor OR boots and backpack.

    That would also open up the possibility of the body armor slot being used for a harness which could be used for pulling a minecart or boat across the ground or ice, or some other purpose.

    ⛏️🎉Announcement.there is going to be dog armor in MINECRAFT version 1.21.HOW TO GET DOG ARMOR IN MINECRAFT=find a armadillo in mincraft,kill it,and then collect the scute it drops and I don't know how you will craft the armor but i will post a new comment when i find out more about dog armor.⛏️🎉
