They could definitely use the atmosphere! Voted.

in retrospect I thought over this idea a bit more after posting. such a thing could likewise be done in the desert with sand storms, the purpose being to give certain biomes detrimental weather for the purposes of making the game more atmospheric, and make weather that much more relevant.

Mi espanol es malo, pero aquí voy.

Si, las tierras pantanosas definitivamente deberian sentirse como lugares oscuros lugubres.

Great idea, but I suggest that it should depend on the weather and time. For example at night it would be thicker than at day and during rain or thunderstorms it be so dense that the player can only see about 20-30 blocks away.

The overall addition of foggy weather would be a great addition to the weather cycle. Like rain it should only last 0.5-1 day. Only cold-medium temperature biomes should be affected. If weather could also be more local instead of worldwide that would be awesome as well.

Great idea! They easily could make that happen in a future update. Plus it would make it a more comfortable setting for a swamp biomes.

Swamps don't always have Fog, mind you.

Alejandro Baars  I honestly like the idea of it being in more biomes than just the swamps.

ClockSpiral .  Swamps tend on average to be pretty humid. It's why they are swamps. It's wet and the water is sort of overtaking the land. Yes they don't always have fog but this kind of biome has the perfect conditions to create fog.

I sincerely like this idea. Fog would make swamps more interesting than they currently are.

This would be so cool! Imagine it, your deep in a foggy swap and then... A witch pops out!

Had the same Idea already a few years ago before I stopped playing. I started playing recently again and when suggesting this idea I saw that someone already had done it. So it would be a great addition to the game!

Maybe make the fog dense, whitish or greenish and also add Herobrine who can spawn very rarely in the fog.

And maybe you could catch fog in a bottle to make some sort of potion!

    This would be cool

Edit this to where it is only foggy from sunrise cycles and sunset cycle. That would make more sense. For also when it rains.

Ambients and sounds are biggest part of the game, so they should add some more things that depend on this massive project

Fog is a great idea! It should also be able to be turned off igame settings if the player doesn't want it (only changeable when making) ,drowned could walk in it maybe? Voted!

I like it, but people already hate rain, so fog would probably bother them. A fog opacity slider would have to be added into the options so that it can be turned either to where it's comfortable or completely off.

It would be cool also if in the swamps the had a greener tone to it

And undead mobs would not burn in the mist.  A swamp lantern should also be in the game fore clearing the fog.

Great idea, maybe make when you walk through fog its like walking through a grey hue. Having this also in the desert would also be great.

Great idea! Instead of the surrounding ambience being blue like Bedrock on low distance rendering, it would be light grey, white, or dark grey, depending on the time of day.

This could fade in and out like rain!

This is a good idea in my opinion because I think the game should have natural disasters and the atmosphere depending on which biome like sandstorms in the desert, or blizzards in snow biomes.  You got my vote!
