Pet Dragons?

How about having a dragon of your own? in any sizes (dog size dragon or Ender dragon size) watching them grow from a baby hatchling to an adult, including with its own elemental powers, and where you have to find it specifically like; water dragons will be in the sea in temples, fire dragons at the volcanos or dungeons, earth dragons at the forests/jungle temples, nether dragons at the netherworld, cave dragons at the caves or abandoned mines, etc. they should also have the distinct color and design of their elemental powers.

    it will be so complicated and It will be more Pokémon like,
    so I suggest just having one pet dragon which can only be collected by hatching enderdragon egg and has a texture like enderdragon,
    probably not adding the ability to fly with it, is better because it makes elytras useless,
    probably add an flying animation to follow you when you are using elytra

    and it'll be good to add an end-side music disk which the petdragon will dance with only that disk

    of course the usage will be like the normal wolf that is hostile towards the enemies

    This idea being added to Minecraft could open up a new possibility with the dragon egg. There could be a chance of the egg hatching into a dragon, where it would lay a dragon egg at an adult age.

    You should work with the creators of Dragonfire and Dragonfire 2 their mechanics are really good and their dragons look amazing.

    perhaps there could be a way to hatch the dragon egg (without spawing a boss dragon) that you get when you kill the dragon, maybe even a pedestal in the deep dark that hatches it as a baby, but locks the ability to spawn the ender dragon again, idk, but that's just my opinion

    yes this would be a great idea!! but maybe when its an adult you could ride it?

    also maybe if you tapped ZR it would shoot fire?

    (PS sea dragons=water blast, fire dragons=fire blast? ETC)

    maybe there could be an ender dragon. you should have to tame them with fish then put a saddle on it? please do this for the switch

    Amazing idea but i would like it only to grow up to medium size with no elemental powers to keep the game normal and not have an OP type mob (depending on the damage its given)

    This is a really cool idea! But I think that there should be a setting (in the world settings thing when you create a world) that says 'Dragons' with a switch so you can choose if you want to have dragons in your world or not.

    I feel like this feature can really make Minecraft really fun. The pet dragon should be obtained in survival mode. They don’t have to be incredibly huge like the ended dragon, but at least the size of a ghast. Being able to ride on dragons, and a button for it to shoot fire would be fun, and I think having at least 2 types of dragons like fire and ice would be enough. Fire dragon can of course shoot fire while the ice dragon can trap people in a block of ice (speaking o, other than getting trapped in snow there really isn’t any weapon or feature that really encase you in ice. That would be neat to add in). I think pet dragons would be fun
