Create a Minecraft launcher to use old versions

In Java Edition, where a user can switch to for example, 1.9, 1.12.2, or 18w20a, whenever they want. I propose that this is implemented to Bedrock Edition as well, so old commands, for example, don’t have to be continually updated by the creator when a syntax change occurs that breaks the command! Also, this could be useful for creating texture packs, etc., so that newer blocks wouldn’t necessarily have to be in the game that the texture pack hasn’t created textures for.

    I agree.. Instead of always having to play the updated version, make one that we can switch to 1.16.5 or older so was all can play till the ones that can't afford a newer desktop pc that will play the 1.17.1 version. We are missing out playing with our friends that are still stuck in 1.16.5 and not being able to play it unless we use Forge version just to play version 1.16.5 or older..

    With the recent addition of Bedrock to the Minecraft universal launcher, this would be an amazing thing to add! I feel like any versions that they can implement, they should! Having the ability to go back to some of the REALLY old versions like Alpha 0.2 would be great for nostalgia and the preservation of versions you can't play anymore.

    I'm primarily a Java player anymore, but I would love to see Bedrock get this feature given I started out there. This is a great idea, and it's the perfect time to add it with Bedrock being added into the universal launcher now.

    Maybe adding more classic, indev, infdev and maybe even Alpha 1.0.17 to the Launcher

    esta podria ser buena idea pero en algunos dispositivos con baja optimizacion podria ser un problema me gustaria que fuera algo aparte que se pueda instalar para que no baje el rendimiento de mi minecraft

    Yes, this will be very good and more now when they plans to have a minors versions updates, the people we play with mods is more hard to update with the official launcher because not all the modders change to the new version in the moment when new version is coming.

    I think this is a great idea because all the good Minecraft addons I find are for older versions

    most older versions would be great to add to the launcher, maybe since the beginning like java, updating addons apparently is much harder than updating mods so its really hard to find mods that work on new versions, so downgrading would be easier.

    i also have an idea for this feature being able to change to older version of the preview versions of minecraft bedrock edition and for both minecraft legends and minecraft dungeons and for it to add support for all devices including all of the consoles including xbox and nintendo switch and all of the other consoles including all mobile devices
