Seasons for most biomes

At least the medium/lush biomes could have four seasons (spring, summer, fall and winter). The cold (snowy) or hot (desert, jungle) biomes could be excluded from this. 

What do seasons change? The most visible change is the vegetation, for example colored tree foliage in autumn or blossoms in spring time. In winter the precipitation would be snow and not rain. And it could also have some impact on crop growth, like slow growth in winter. This would add some difficulty to the game. Mob spawning could be affected by this too.

There are already moon phases in Minecraft. Maybe the seasons could be tied to this. One entire moon circle could be one season. I think it would make the game more diverse and enjoyable.

    Actually 1st of all bedrock has a snowy tree in snowy biomes, 2nd ain't seasons like 4 months, and one full rotation of the moon is a month? why not 4 full phases of the moon (just an opinion no offense) is 1 season. And the snowy desert and jungle biomes are of course exluded like you said yourself

    It would be nice if in the world options, you could set it to a single season. If I was making a city build, I would choose fall, as it would look cool in parks.

    In winter all skeleton spawns should be switched for strays where possible so only on the surface below high Y levels and not in caves

    this is like the mod pack RLcraft infact id love the freeze damage to be added as a new feature like not making leather armor it will freeze you if you were outside in winter it would encourage players to use the leather armor for not only walking in snow but also preventing frostbite. with the votes on this i guarantee this will be the next update hopefully

    among these majorities the desert biome would be more equivalent, because we would be sandstorm hurricane, so I literally had to enable the game's Aqua bar maybe in the desert update? you know?

    I really hope that Minecraft brings in seasons!! Especially fall!!! It would be epic!! Now more adding texture packs too! What a dream that might come true!!!

    I would like if a new autumn tree was added which had orange leaves, but I think it would change too much if there were actual seasons. I would also love a willow tree, maybe a gold-ish color!

    They can add a greenhouse block too. for the farms don't change in any season like with redstone, crystal and seeds. And the water can be turned to ice when its winter time.

    It should snow in meadow, plains, and forest biomes during "winter."

    Also, maybe some areas could have monsoons in the "summer?"

    tbh even if they had like just ONE specific autumn biome, with specific particle effects that are falling leaves (like the spores have or some of the new nether biomes) and foxes and squirrels and owls, that would be beautiful. a special new grass block that's like podzol but it's fallen leaves. it's just a forest of golden yellows and bright oranges, and strong reds. i know everything has to have a "purpose" but for now it could be an aesthetic biome. or have berry bushes and mushrooms there as a place to gather food. with villagers that all have autumnal colored clothes or clothes made of fallen leaves. and they'd have pumpkin patches for farms.

    Good idea, but maybe the seasons last a little longer? Maybe like 40 minutes in real time is all four seasons in Minecraft. I hope this gets added though, because seasons would be nice. Maybe also a command that could change the season. Thanks for posting this, it's a really good idea.
