In the Overworld, we have rain, thunder, and snow. What do we have in the Nether? Nothing. I think there should be a rare, natural occurrence in the Nether. Maybe sometimes it can be raining magma cubes, or maybe sometimes there can be Wither Skeleton Horse Traps? I would just like to see something that can uncommonly happen in the Nether.

Oh that's really smart, could you go check out my idea about the nether its called Nether expansion update the nether really needs an update I need more votes.
I think the nether is dangerous enough already.
More structures in nether!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe a dense grey fog could rarely move through parts of the nether. Standing in this fog gives you the wither effect, and while you can't see other mobs through the fog, they can still see you.
Maybe there can be an event where smoke clouds (from fires and lava) form near the ceiling of the nether, and then ash rains down from them. Maybe the severity of the falling ash can change depending on where you are, like if you are near a lava ocean, it can have more of an effect and the smoke blinds you more. Maybe the ash can cover and reveal new enemies that spawn during the event. Maybe you can collect the smoke in bottles for blindness potions? The downside of that may be that the smoke slowly chokes you and you lose air.
You could maybe have randomly-occuring lightning strikes that bounce around the nether, as nether blocks could potentially have the ability to reflect lightning? Could make exploring a bit more exciting and also scary, as the lightning bounces from crevices to the ceiling continuously. Could also happen when there are thunderstorms in the overworld.
Nether and the end needs a huge update
Maybe something that doesn't cause damage (or something that is easy to avoid)? I like the idea that some ppl have suggested about lava spouts and I think that would be a good addition if there was an indication it was about to happen, such as bubbling.
Like a really violent lightning storm
Blood rain would be cool. Maybe not so okay for an E rated game though.
along with the new nether update, maybe they could add zombie pigman villages/towns and every so often there would be a piglin raid, and there could be a reward for defeating the piglin raid
Yes! Something like this needs to be added for the Nether update.
My idea would be soul storms that blind players that are daring enough to venture through the soul sand valley. They could slow and blind you, and maybe even give you a new effect that makes you partially lose control of your movement.
A raising lava ?
Ash that works similar to snow would be an interesting idea for an even in the Nether.
This post seems relevant for this entry too:

#nether update natural events
I like the idea of having weather change in the nether, but raining magma cubes seems extreme. Maybe if there was a change in weather that gave a little warning before making certain areas dangerous, and other changes that are only indirectly dangerous? I love the Wither Skeleton Horse Trap idea!
Earthquakes and netherrack falls from the ceiling would be sick and scary af and maybe lava levels go up high
A purple Nether storm would be insane. I love it, great idea
Ember Rain
(1) The lava sea should have random fire spouts. An entity which spawns in any 3x3x3 section of surface lava (the 3x3x1 region directly above it would need to be air), produces some "warning" particles & sounds for several seconds, then shoots a column of damaging flame directly up 10-50 blocks. It would set flammable blocks on fire, pass through solid blocks, and damage & ignite any flame-vulnerable mobs caught in the column. After the spout there would be some more "rumbling" effects, then the entity would de-spawn. It would also de-spawn before spouting if its 3x3x3 region was no longer all lava, e.g. if the player dropped a bunch of gravel into it. Spouts should occur frequently enough that you would see about a dozen per (real-world) minute when overlooking a large section of lava sea. It's important it be an entity so (a) it could be spawned by commands, even in the Overworld and End, (b) it could be removed/moved/altered by commands, and (c) it could be prevented from spawning at Peaceful difficulty.
(2) There could be a smoky/foggy weather effect where the visibility distance is drastically reduced, ambient light is reduced slightly, and smoke/fog particles appear near players similar to the tiny bubbles seen when underwater.
(3) There could be another "weather" effect which is an earthquake. The players' view would visibly shake, making precise aiming difficult. Netherrack blocks with air below them could spawn dust particles the way unsupported sand/gravel do.
Both (2) and (3) would be available in the /weather command, and would be controlled by the doWeatherCycle gamerule. Perhaps they could even be triggered in the End and Overworld, even though they'd not occur normally in those dimensions. Actually, come to think of it, having earthquakes occur very rarely in the Overworld would be a good addition, too.
i want a nether event called a "dark storm" its a cloud of dark moving matter that diminishes your vision to a few feet infront of you while you are in it. there is no dispelling it and it will make movement very hard
I good event that could happen in the nether (and overworld volcanic biome), is ash rain/storm
My suggestion about Ash Layer (snow of the nether) would work well with this idea
https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/360042725731-Ash-Layer-Nether-update-
how about ash rains where ash will start to pile up like snow
An idea that I have for this could be Nether Maelstroms. These storms would viciously tear across the nether, cutting through some of the netherack and raining down melted rock rain that it picks up from the lava. Piglins could run away and hide when these storms occur, and they would damage the nether trees and surrounding area, but would not last a long period of time.
