
It is a new survival gamemode that does not allow for respawning, however, there are no hardcore hearts and many mechanics are different:
- No Crafting or smelting
- No Armor
- Mushrooms are the only food source
- No Nether or End Dimension
- The only ores are coal, iron and gold
- No Tools or Weapons
- No daylight cycle
- There is a weather cycle, but there are no thunderstorms.
- No Commands
- No Multiplayer
- No Difficulties
- Grass and leaves are light green
- Simple lighting engine from Classic
- The only monsters are zombies, skeletons, spiders and creepers
- Creepers explode on kill, and instead perform melee attacks
- No inventory, only the hotbar
- Blocks stack to 99
- No naturally generated structures
- The only animals are pigs, which drop 0-2 mushrooms, and sheep, which drop 2-4 wool on punch
- Sheep do not drop anything on death, they also do not eat grass
- 3 world sizes: Small, which is 64X64 blocks, Medium, which is 128X128 blocks and Large, which is 256X256 blocks
- Liquids spread downward and outward infinitely
- No breeding, no baby animals or monsters
- All monsters drop nothing on death
- Mushrooms do not spread or grow into huge mushrooms
- The height limit is 128 blocks, with the minimum height for building is 0 blocks.
- No snowfall or biomes
- Gravity blocks fall instantly
- Brown mushrooms heal 2.5 player hearts, while red mushrooms damage the player by 1.5 hearts.
- TNT fuses can be cancelled
- The player fires arrows by the Tab key, rather than a bow
- Player starts with 20 arrows and 10 TNT.
- Player arrows deal 7 damage.
- Mob arrows do 3 damage.
