I think it is meant to be obtrusive, as a way to balance the fact that you can look at Endermen. I would like it though if you could see through the holes from the outside.

Soul Fire is made by using flint and steel on soul sand, so if you add soul sand to the recipe it could simply make soul fire. Either that or use netherite instead of iron. Just because there isn't...

This could be the adult form of the Endermite. The enderhoney should be the same color as ender pearls

Also, if coal ores are mined with this pickaxe, they should drop nothing, as if the coal was burned up. Mining coal ores could also replenish the items durability, as if providing more fuel

Going back to the actual topic of this post, I like the idea of Flame Pickaxes but not the name as much. Perhaps an enchantment called "Smelter" or "Blast?"
