The Warden can't see or hear anything so it can't identify what side it's on. Only through similar vibrations like the skulk sensors can the Warden be passive around.

This would honestly be perfect for the Plains biome since other biomes are each getting their own unique mobs.

The eye should definitely be the drop and be used to make a Mining Fatigue Potion too. Elder Guardians only spawn once in their temples so this would be a very rare potion and make guardian temples...

This actually makes sense! Chainmail real life protects you from bolts of electricity while regular iron armor doesn't.
