Here are some workarounds: If you use Java, you can use the /attribute command on yourself to set your waypoint transmission range to 0. If you use Bedrock, you can disable the locatorBar game rule...

If the chest is broken, the item will also remain in the cursed chest until the chest is destroyed.

Especially as of the latest snapshot where copper chains exist now (25w32a), they still need to be included in trial chambers instead of iron chains.
