Crafting:
This is crafted with 4 glass blocks, 4 string in the corners, and leather in the center.
Usage:
Up to 8 dyes can be stored in it.
When used on a water cauldron in Bedrock Edition, the dye colours are blended together first in the same algorithm as the Java leather armour colour blending, then the cauldron water colour is changed to match the final blended dye colour if undyed, or blended with the final result if already dyed. This empties the dye bag.
When used in a crafting table in Java, the leather armour piece’s armour colour is blended with all the dye bag’s dye colours if already dyed, or set to all of the dye bag’s dye colours blended together if not dyed yet. This also empties the dye bag.
A user interface exists similar to how a bundle works, to show what dyes are in the bag. In this user interface also exists a “Combine” button. When the “Combine” button is pressed, a new dye with blended colours from the previous dyes is created, and put into the player’s cursor, which can then be used in a cauldron or in a crafting table for dyeing leather armor, depending on the edition.
The new dye can also be put into the dye bag and further blended with other dyes.
