Underappreciated Materials Megathread

This is a thread for discussing what to do with little to no use items that are commonly obtained in game.

Here are some items for example

• Flint
• Copper ingots
• Amethyst shards
• Feathers
• Pufferfish
• Ink Sacs
• Glowing Ink Sacs
• Poisonous potatoes

  Flint is fairly useful, arrows and fire-starting, not much else for it than like a dagger. Copper is already used to conduct lightning, redstone for wiring, so again not sure what else of uses. Amethyst, maybe in magic recipes/uses (commonly known for "healing" properties). Feathers, besides arrows, maybe should be part of the bed recipe, or fishing lure without Lure enchantment availability. What else for pufferfish? They're just poisonous. Squid ink is already used as common purposes, writing ink or black dye, but could have a small healing food recipe as well. Maybe poisonous potatoes for a poison potion, spider eyes then for a visual effect potion.
